I think English is kind of the common language because of that. I’ve never actually been to Miami
I lived there for a couple years. The areas I was in were dominated by Spanish. Again, you could get by with English, but you’d hear Spanish more than English.

I knew a lady when I was younger that had a heavy Irish accent. She was born and raised in Chicago. I guess if that’s what you’re around, that’s how you sound. So makes sense to me.

When I grew up in Chi Town, it was more of a city if neighborhoods; Polish, Italian, German, Greek, etc… That, I assume really preserved the language and accents, as well as the cultures.

I will have to look up the song
The next verse goes like this:

If you’ll be my bodyguard
I can be your long lost pal
I can call you Betty
And Betty, when you call me
You can call me Al

It’s Paul Simon - You Can Call Me Al

Complaining because I have only been to Knoxville once. We loved it. So clean. At least where we were, which I assume was downtown near the old fairgrounds.

I have been there more than once, haven’t gotten to stay longer than a few minutes, though. There is a very pretty church (what kind, I do not know) that you can see from the interstate (I 40, I think). At night, it has a glowing blue cross. It’s really pretty. (I think it’s blue)

We were new grads. Both worked 7 on - 7 off. Spent just about every other week in the Smokey’s or around Asheville.

I love the mountains…Asheville, not so much. The Great Smoky National Park has been my favourite place on earth since I was a child. I got a walking stick from atop of Clingman’s Dome.

More complaints. Why did the WWF become the WWE? Why are my ankles always sore? Why is Rick Astley never gonna give you up? Why do people not understand that men have feelings? Why does society think I should wear matching socks? NEVER!

Much like Kurt Cobain in the Nirvana song “Heart Shaped Box” I’ve got a new complaint. Since I mentioned people not being able to do southern accents in film (remember, there is more than one), why do some people not even know this accent exists? The Carolina Brogue: Language of the Outer Banks. I was in the Outer Banks the other day, I have no way to describe it.

I am complaining because it’s kind of cold in the house. I do not like the cold.
