You said huiou that there is no proof for trinity
Reca, I realize English isn’t your first language; but I never said there was no proof and I’d ask you to re-read what I wrote slowly and carefully.
I already GAVE one of the proofs that the trinity always existed: Moses asked for God’s name ( He asked for ONE
singular name ), and God answered three times.
We have three names for God revealed through scripture and from the history of Abraham and the promise – We at very least know God as: Father who has a Spirit.
Later we learn from Moses, that his name is mysteriously triple.
It’s the implication of the triple name which was not understood until Jesus came – but the evidence was always there; people just weren’t always smart enough to take the clues God gave us and reason to the logical inference.
The name Father signifies the Origin; The word Son signifies the destination of the origin’s life; and the Holy Spirit (Ruah/breath) signifies life itself.
If there was no Spirit, God would not be alive; If there was no Son, there would be no destination for the Origin to send to ( analogously: St. John says, God IS Love – therefore without a Son, God has no one TO love.)
Think about it:
A Father is not a word meaning “loving only one’s self” – but rather, it is a word demanding that there be a relationship to someone/something else.
Even if the word “Father” is taken in the arrogant sense, as teacher or master – these words always imply “a relationship with something else”.
God can’t be Father unless and until there
IS something else to be father of.
God can’t be Master unless and until there
IS something else to be master of.
NOW – The world was created by God; Do you not believe that, like us?
If so, then you must realize that either God changed (which is impossible) or else he was already Father, Origin, or at least
Master before he created
anything. He must always have had someone to be master over, or father to.
I know God was not created; he created something else using the Spirit.
I know that God didn’t create the Spirit because the Spirit is what does the creating! ( Genesis 1:2, … the breath [Spirit] of God carried aloft the formless and void waters ).
The neccesity of an eternal relationship of Father/Spirit can be shown in another way: The words have implications:
Spirit [breath] implies life; A person without breath is
dead.
It is air which oxygenates the blood; therefore, life is in the blood.
It is the spirit that Gives Life to the blood.
Now, apply it to God:
Since God is alive, and he has a Spirit – we know by the meaning of words that God always had the Spirit; or else we admit (wrongly) that God was once dead.
Therefore, God always had a Spirit.
To be Mater or Father, the following must be true:
A Father gives Life to a Son.
A Master controls the Life of a slave,
These names are what prove the trinity the very most. They force a set of minimum relationships with at least two people involved, and these relationships had to be true eternally – and even before creation.
You must say, God is Not master before the world began, or else there was someone that God was Master of; God was not Father before the world began, or else there was a Son.
In either case – life was involved – and two persons.
A trinity.
then what are you defending of, and for you more information read Ezekiel 23 and tell what kind of god’s word is?
Look at jimmy swag art bible and king jims version and tell that is god changing the bible each year.
I just read Ezekiel 20.
In Ezekiel 20:11, we have the place where God gave them his law – and in Ezekiel 20:13 they rebelled.
It is for this rebellion that God says Ezekiel 20:25 “For that reason, I also gave them statutes (law) that were NOT good, and judgments whereby they should not live, and I polluted them in their own gifts, …”
So, even here – God adds a second law; and this new law is because of sin. The new law has jurisdiction over sinners, but not over those who didn’t sin.
That’s exactly what I have been saying; there is more than one law – and not all laws in the old testament apply to all people equally.
So, now – I ask you:
What is it that you think Ezekiel shows? Why would you think it somehow refutes anything I have said? I read the passage and it only strengthens what I have said.
