I know that is the Liberal spin put on the sale but its simply not true. Theses sales have been going on for ay least 15 years and have always been a very effective way of pointing out the injustice of affirmative action. There is no subtext.

I regret I did not make myself clear but I really don’t think we are in disagreement on this see table below. It is based on the assumption of Big Academy wanting equivalence in student population. So to be perfectly equal everything is a ratio of Preferential Minority: White Male

That is the opinion of many on the left. If you are against discriminating people based on race, then that makes you are in fact a racist. Don’t expect it to make sense though.

You have to ask Gov. Brown and California general assembly and don’t forget to touch base with the Vice Chancellor for Equity and Diversity. I sure they all con put it into proper contextualization with enough gibberish to confuse everyone.

The generalization presumes that ALL Democrats support Affirmative Action. I do, but a lot of us don’t, particularly those who fear that it may affect their jobs or educational opportunities. We aren’t as monolithic as some here might think we are.

Most republicans I know are against affirmative action because they are against discrimination.
