Thanks for all the useful advice, personal experiences, links, and other encouraging words. I appreciate all of you very much.
I wish I could be like Thistle and be able to wake up one day and just accept it all at once, but unfortunately that is not the case with me, although I am envious of that type of faith. After all, my name is Thomas so it would be appropriate for me to have a few doubts here and there, right?
However, I have found that once the question of which Church was given the authority from Christ and the apostles down through history was settled in my mind once and for all, the rest of Catholicism seems to be easier to accept on faith.

I agree and will pursue it accordingly.
Sometimes I wonder why God would want someone of my age (just turned 57) to leave the comfort zone of my faith tradition to convert to Catholicism. I don’t know the answer to that but I will continue to trust Him on the journey. I’ve relied on Him most of my life and there is no reason for me to stop now.
