Now YOU are being sarcastic. But I’ve got to agree with you that Biden would be no better, and maybe worse, in handling the pandemic.
 
50,000 dead is not really the place to be sarcastic. The dead deserve better.

He just cannot ever say, “I was wrong.”

Instead we have the same variation of the same discussion for three almost four years.
 
What better evidence that Biden would be worse, then the suggestion that doctors explore injecting disinfectants and putting light into people as a cure for Covid?

I don’t know. All I know is that every time I think we have reached the absolute rock bottom in our presidential leaders, another one is elected who proves me wrong.
 
I don’t know Mrs. Cuomo and I don’t have her number to text her.

I wasn’t aware it was my job to educate everyone. Or that in order to say Mr. Trump was wrong about something I needed to go search for everyone else wrong about something, tell them, and then comment.
 
Yes, that’s true. Many say he’s the type of guy one could hang out with or befriend. But look at the mess he got us into in Iraq and, by extension, elsewhere in the Middle East. Or was that really Cheney? Regardless, this is a topic for another thread.

He repeatedly said at the press conference if you watched it that he is not crazy about the press.

He made statements directly to the press similar to this. If I say, today was a good day because only 422 died in NY, the press, yes you, will write in the headlines “Trump is happy people are dying”

Ingesting alcoholic beverages might alleviate cold symptoms, but it does not cure the cold. Alcoholic beverages are not antiviral when you consume them.

President Trump didn’t “suggest” anything. He asked questions for goodness sake. If we can’t be honest about this simple fact, we are doing a disservice to open discourse on a Catholic forum. A question isn’t a suggestion. That’s worth repeating: a Question is NOT a Suggestion. Should the president not have asked those questions into a microphone on a podium? Yeah, absolutely, without a doubt. But to deliberately mischaracterize obvious questions as policy guidance (and that’s exactly what’s happening here) is just an attempt to politicize the event. It’s an attempt to make the man look stupid. He’s not a stupid man. And shame on all of us who would suggest that he is. None of us are stupid, but all of us make errors in our communications with others. Yes, even the President of the United States of America. President Trump is often inarticulate - but so is Joe Biden for that matter. Human beings don’t always rise to our expectations. And they certainly don’t rise to the expectations of the all-knowing and agenda-driven Media who will selectively hold people accountable for every letter in every word spoken poorly. And they will hold them in utter contempt if they have an ax to grind against them. And that’s not reporting the news; that’s agitation and provocation. This incident actually IS fake news. Don’t fall for it. I wish this whole sorry scene wasn’t being falsely portrayed like it is, but it is. And to pile on in the way it’s being done is just childish. Hey! I have an idea, let’s take advantage of our leader’s faults in the midst of the greatest national crisis since World War II. Let’s cast doubt on their abilities to govern. Let’s kick people when they fall down, shall we?
