If Atlantic, NYT and WaPo are right and CDC is not properly managing the data, then replacing it in that endeavor is a good idea.
Not proven to be of any benefit yet.Hydroxychloroquine is obviously, helping a lot of people yet,…
Corruption is typically taking bribes. Who took bribes?Corrupt people deliver corrupt outcomes.
Reforming/reorienting the CDC is also an option. If Atlantic, NYT and WaPo are right and CDC is not properly managing the data, then replacing it in that endeavor is a good idea.
Biden took bribes, but that’s not the point. Corruption can come in many forms, and does.Corruption is typically taking bribes. Who took bribes?
Produce the plan and give it to your senators.Reforming/reorienting the CDC is also an option.
He did? Prove it.Biden took bribes, but that’s not the point.
HHS is saying they want the data directly because the CDC is a week behind in reporting. With the more timely data HHs can help the federal government deploy resources in a more timely manner. They are simply taking the data so it can be manipulated.
That’s not what “accepting a bribe means.” The firing of the corrupt prosecutor who was protecting Ukranian gangsters was U.S. policy and the policy of our allies as well. That prosecutor was not even investigating the company in question at the time. And the company in question was not “Biden’s son’s company”. It was a company for which Biden’s son recent began to do consulting work. But other than being wrong on all the major points, sure, I guess. That tape. You mean come up with an audio tape where he bragged about withholding American aid until the Ukrainian president fired his own appointee who was investigating Biden’s son’s corrupt company that even his son admitted hired him to buy influence?
I’ve been involved in health care reporting for a long time. There is always a lag. Medical claims lag by weeks or months. Death data lags by days or weeks.HHS is saying they want the data directly because the CDC is a week behind in reporting. With the more timely data HHs can help the federal government deploy resources in a more timely manner.
It’s a fake conclusion, not a factual “story”. There is zero evidence produced on here that Trump’s motivation is anything other than correcting the ineptitude of CDC which even your liberal sources say is a problem. But what does this have to do with Trump hiding the coronavirus data from the public? That’s the real story and the subject of this thread.
There is zero evidence that Trump wants accurate and timely information released, given how damaging it is to his popularity. And we know how precious his popularity is to him. It’s a fake conclusion, not a factual “story”. There is zero evidence produced on here that Trump’s motivation is anything other than correcting the ineptitude of CDC which even your liberal sources say is a problem.
Hospital data on coronavirus patients will now be rerouted to the Trump administration instead of first being sent to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Department of Health and Human Services confirmed
Maybe it isn’t damaging at all. If CDC is “double counting” some of the numbers, which some have alleged. From the Atlantic article:There is zero evidence that Trump wants accurate and timely information released, given how damaging it is to his popularity.
The CDC is part of the Trump administration, so…What makes you think Trump did this, not CDC.
Nothing changed? The CDC is part of the Trump administration, so…
What changes is that data that used to go to a non-political agency that was trusted by the nation as a whole now goes to a very political agency, which means the data that comes out will not be trusted because of political corruption of what should be pure science.
The CDC moved its focus from mildly-political infectious disease to very political public health measures (like car seats, health disparities, dietary guidelines, etc) a long time ago. What changes is that data that used to go to a non-political agency that was trusted by the nation as a whole now goes to a very political agency,
Just because you disagree with the CDC does not make them political. The CDC moved its focus from mildly-political infectious disease to very political public health measures (like car seats, health disparities, dietary guidelines, etc) a long time ago.
