I don’t think you understand the issue we have with “criticizing the clergy”. Most times, 99%, posters actually have no issue with the clergy but the media’s portrayal of the clergy. In fact, the biggest argument I see against Pope Francis is not anything he teaches but that he won’t “clarify” private conversations that are turned into agendas against Church teaching. How silly is that?Okay, everyone who said there are not people out there saying you can’t criticize the clergy, see that. I was right. They are here, on this forum, on this thread.
200 years ago if you got written information, it was likely correct. Paper was expensive and committing something to it was no small task. Today words on paper or words in pixels mean nothing. We have garbage information and 99% of that is used as the basis of the criticizm. It’s unacceptable.
