He has said worse without any of those things happening.
I still don’t think it was a very prudent or charitable thing to say about any human being. It was kind of funny, knowing he wouldn’t really do it, but it wasn’t nice at all.

Ted Cruz tries to get John Kasich thrown off Montana ballot
HELENA, Mont.-- Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign is trying to knock opponent John Kasich off Montana’s primary by questioning signatures the Ohio governor’s campaign submitted to qualify for the ballot - another subplot in the unfolding political drama to derailDonald Trump’s presidential bid.
Emails obtained by The Associated Press show Cruz campaign officials have raised questions about the 622 signatures submitted by the Kasich campaign. A minimum of 500 valid signatures is required for a presidential candidate to qualify for the Montana ballot.
The Cruz campaign asserts Kasich’s petition contains signatures with invalid notaries, improper dates, mismatched phone numbers and illegible names, among other potential discrepancies.
Kasich will end up supporting Trump over this scam

On the existence or non-existence of “Trump-propaganda” I’ll support what Bill O’Reilly said here. (Although on a side note, I think O’Reilly could stand to spend a little less time looking out for Trump and a little more time looking out for the Republican Party.)

Yeah, O’Reilly is in the Trump tank as much as Hannity. Or your buddy Bolling.

I can hardly listen to Hannity anymore, he claims to be neutral but it’s obvious he’s a trumpster. He defends everything trump, no matter how sleazy.
Hannity claims to be a conservative but dismisses trumps liberal history just because trump says he’s changed. (even though many things trump says changes almost daily)
Trump could have just as easily ran as a democrat, and I believe he would have if our current prez was a republican.
hannity, o’reilly, rush and the rest would bash trump daily if he were running as a democrat, and it would be on the exact same issues they are defending him about now.

There is always screaming Levin, and Rush Limbaugh who pretends to not endorse but is a solid cruz guy. And crazy Glenn Beck.

I like Levin except for the screaming part, but he’s no longer on my local radio station. Rush is ok, but rambles on way too much, he is not as bad as Hannity but he pretty much refuses to criticize trump, maybe cause they’re golfing buddies?
I agree, beck is a little nutty at times, but at least he’s supporting a true conservative 😛

Ted Cruz warns against changing party rule requiring candidates to win eight states
By David Sherfinski - The Washington Times - Thursday, March 31, 2016
Sen. Ted Cruz is warning against changing a rule for the GOP convention in July that requires a candidate to win a majority of delegates in eight states to get their name considered for the presidential nomination.
“It is the rules that govern the convention,” Mr. Cruz told radio host Hugh Hewitt when asked if he was endorsing “Rule 40.” “And of course, the Washington power brokers shouldn’t try to change the rules to steal the nomination. Of course, we should operate under the rules that govern the nomination.”
Rule 40(b), adopted in 2012, says that “each candidate for nomination for President of the United States and Vice President of the United States shall demonstrate the support of a majority of the delegates from each of eight (8) or more states, severally, prior to the presentation of the name of that candidate for nomination.” . . .
. . . . Asked about the rule Thursday, Mr. Kasich said “there are no rules.” . . .

I never doubted that Cruz would win being a citizen eligible to run for president, but Trump point out that as the Constitution states that a person must be born in the United States, his eligibility would be challenged right up to the SCUTUS and it would hurt him if it dragged out to the General Election where people would have doubts whether or not they would be wasting their vote on him.

Funny how Obama’s mother being a US born citizen, was never considered by the birthers.

My understanding is that each convention can establish it’s own rules. There is no way they will leave the current rules in place. The current rules would insure that the only possible nominees would be Trump or Cruz. The GOP “establishment” is very much aware that the Trump stench would stick to every other Republican running for office. As for Cruz, I get the impression that to know him is to loathe him. No way either of these guys gets the nomination.

Please note…I’m not saying this is “right.” Everyone who voted for Trump was voting against the business-as-usual political machinations that will deny Trump the nomination and give it to an establishment guy. I’m just saying that, IMO, that’s what will happen.

I agree with every word. I have really enjoyed watching Fox (Kelly/Hannity/O’Reilly) for the last two or three years. They were critical of the Obama administration in a way that the rest of the media was not. Fox performed a necessary public service in my view as media watchdog on many hot button issues like Benghazi, ISIS, gay marriage, infringements on religious freedom, the excessive power of liberal Hollywood and corporations, the anti-police Ferguson stuff, Black Lives Matter excesses, violence. Again, no one else in the media in the country was questioning the Obama official position in the slightest on these issues. Fox presented an alternative view which is so important in the media.

Then Trump comes along… What happened. They uncritically drink and espouse the Trump KoolAid - lethal stuff to their own conservative brand, identity, integrity - to the GOP, and to over half of the Republicans in the country. Hannity is the worst: a Trump groupie; furthermore he has an aggressive style on occasion that is really offensive, inappropriate; I watched him basically take down a Catholic priest once in an ‘interview’ and have not watched him that much since. But I have also seen the proTrump subliminal message straight from O’Reilly and of course our buddy Eric Bolling and a number of the other “Five” ones. A few notable (and very courageous) hold-outs of course. I am not saying Fox won’t allow those who are not on board with Trump to have their say - but increasingly, overall I perceive a real pro Trump ‘let’s all shut up and get on board behind him’ vibe, which I resent: this amounts to the GOP committing suicide electorally and in terms of what it stands for. Even commentators who refuse to get on the Trump train are getting heat - National Review or Weekly Standard guys. I just stopped watching in disgust. (I should add that I believe Trump will self-derail and Cruz will emerge in the latter part of this campaign; this is going to be very embarrassing and painful for quite a number of media Trumpers)

I will actually plug CNN here - Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon. Be forewarned though - they are openly on the left. But the shows are intelligent and the conversations are more balanced, the right and left are pretty equally represented and allowed to fully state their opinions (they don’t just get cut off and shot down after 30 seconds). Less shrill more substantive, interesting discussion. I really enjoy it. And of course you get a much more accurate picture of the real state of the race - they don’t just smear Hillary 24/7. You can figure out what is going on with both sides, not just be fed what you want to hear/believe. (they are annoyingly pro Hillary sometimes I will admit) Which is what news is supposed to be.
