Curious about contemplative prayer

At that deepest level of contemplative prayer that St. Theresa spoke of (I believe it was called infused prayer), does it always accompany physical signs, such as her stories of levitation? And are there other saints who have experienced this type of prayer and/or signs?

No it does not. Such are extraordinary graces-- extra ordinary phenomena that happen to some.

So who are the other saints? The only ones I’ve heard of that are connected to contemplative prayer are St. Theresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross.
