Makes sense.

Years ago in Canberra people sometimes described these dry, depressing late summer days as “Evil weather”. That always made sense to me. They get your spirits down. There’s a feeling that nothing’s going to happen, apart from a fire starting.

We seem to have been through a bad week of it, but it’s cooling down today, and there’s a light wind.

Depressing is it 🙂 My elderly (not elderly !they mentally chime in ) parents sometimes feel a bit low this time of year…it’s so important to have some garden,some greenery on the farm,sweep up all the dead fairy grass …shivery grass and sweep the cobwebs and dust to appear like we’re still in the land of the living 🌻

Just make it go away! I want to go to Mass tomorrow, which won’t happen if there’s ice all over the place. I finally got around to going to Confession so am feeling kind of holy.😇 And we have reservations at a fancy schmancy steakhouse using a gift certificate youngest DS gave us for Christmas. We were going on Valentine’s Day but that turned out to be Ash Wednesday.😠

I’m been watching the ice skaters at the Olympics. Ice is fine there in the rink, not in front of my house. Get off my lawn!😡
 
I’m actually watching the ice skaters too. I also went to one of my little sister’s friend’s birthday party at a skating rink. So I’m feeling like I could do all of those jumps. Totally.

We just got dumped with lots of snow that’s probably headed your way out East if it’s not already there…❄️ ⛄

I haven’t checked the Weather Channel lately to see what we’re in for next, as I haven’t been out lately due to not feeling well.

Lent has come a bit early ,sharing the Internet with teenagers…I’ll be fading in and out.
About 20C at the moment,just beautiful really…gardening.

I am finally starting to feel better.

Things are starting to finally calm down, although I still get tired out easily.

I made some chicken noodle soup for our dinner and I was able to eat it without any problems. I am eating some vanilla wafer cookies now. So I am eating foods that are easy to digest. My appetite is better.

This is one nasty bug that’s going around. It’s not a 24 hour thing. It lasts longer than that, unfortunately.
