Hereā€™s is one of the worst films ever made about the not trusting 30+
Even then I believed it was rather short-sighted of them. Even as a teen I was aware that some day Iā€™d reach that extremely 'advanced age", and we would be well-advised not to spit on our own future.

I saw that movie at a drive in as part of a triple feature.
Everyone started flashing their lights, honking their horns, and yelling out the car windows. Eventually they stopped the film and put on the second feature.

Never saw that movie. Never even heard of it. Sounds like a winner though.

I remember Loganā€™s Run ā€“ where when you turn 30, you get to fly through an arena while lasers shoot you out of the air and people shout ā€œrenewā€ at you.

Itā€™s impossible for me to impart my thousands of years worth of knowledge here. Nevertheless, hereā€™s some advice:
  • Do as I say. Not as I do.
  • Be suspicious and question everything.
  • Read *The Art of War because I wrote it.
  • Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
  • Read my 5 years worth of posts.

Hmm šŸ¤” the statues wernā€™t covered in my local churchā€¦are they in the churches you attend?

Too windy ,too windyā€¦everytime I walk outside it throws some dust in my eye and ruffles my hair.

Willy-willyā€™s can be quite full on, once got stuck in the middle of one that was mixed in with small stone chips. Painful. Has Cyclone Kelvin is still going, lots of wind damage and flooding too.

That will be us tomorrow. Even the crickets have stopped chirping.

The statues and crucifix in our churches arenā€™t covered until later in Holy Week around these parts. We had one parish that always replaced the holy water in the fonts with gravel all through Lent too (which is a perennial CAF topic of complaint and debate šŸ˜ ), but our current pastor has stopped that practice.

Thatā€™s a curious practice šŸ™‚ Iā€™d never heard of that before.Hmm, yeah Iā€™m possibly getting confused about the coveringsā€¦youā€™d think Iā€™d know for sure by now at near middle age šŸ™‚
