We had a bit of snow (3-4 inches), but our temps are really low (0 F, -18 C) – so my school district called a “delayed start” this morning.

My son’s school is cancelled for the day!!! 😱

Well, it simplifies my day and my driving, and that’s good.

Be grumpy and carry on. 😠

Sunday our temps were in the 60s. And then winter returned.

Time to put the runners on the car and head to work. ⛄ 😠 ⛄
 
Meh. Temps go up, temps go down.

What I want is a proper blizzard – a good storm that dumps a couple feet of snow all at once.

Actually, I’d like two blizzards. One at the beginning of March, and one a couple weeks later.

Who do I call to order those? 🤔
 
Family folklore.

When my older siblings were young. The weather man predicted “heavy snow” one Thanksgiving. They told mom and dad they were going to pray for 3 feet of snow.

That night they got 36 inches of snow. My dad was not amused.

Just goes to show who is God’s favorite!
 
It was in the mid-70s here. And we could well still have a heavy snow. It’s the usual fight between Canadian cold and Gulf of Mexico moisture and warmth. We should have the annual tornado drill soon. Sometimes it’s good to work in a basement.

We get the same sort of thing here. We get our best blizzards when the Canadian cold meets the Gulf’s moisture. I love snow. ❄️ ❄️ ❄️

Not too crazy about the extreme cold, however. ⛄

I gave up CAF for Lent except on Tuesdays and Thursdays. And those are days when I have a lot of classes. I’ve gotten a lot of school done too thanks to it. So, deal with it, man. 😔

Come Easter my full wit and awesomeness will be available 24/7.

I’m sure you are all counting down the days…
