Thanks , must gargle.
Well I hope your eye results were good Katy.
Look like we only have this mole, and I don’t live in central Australia so have ever seen one.The closest I’ve come was seeing a field in England with some furrows.
Sorry you have moles 🙂

This I what we have:

The like to eat grubs and other creepy things that live underground. We must have a smorgasbord under there. You could break an ankle walking around on the grass with all the tunnels underfoot after the rains we’ve had.😡
The eyes are OK, a little fog behind one new lenses, but apparently it can be zapped with a laser if that becomes a problem.

I had cataract surgery on my left eye, and it was amazing what I could see after it was replaced.

I have one of those super eye exams coming up next month which I get yearly due to the diabetes, and I really hate having my eyes dilated. I also have to drive up to Indy, about 80 miles, to get it done too.

Moles I can live without. I have had them get into the garden search for worms only to tear up the roots of my veggies.

Maybe you all have noticed articles with findings that indicate married men live longer and then have some lame explanation. I think it’s because women often will pester a man they care about to take care of himself. So there. 😠
When I read this today I thought of your post. I guess you were right after all 😠

I’ll be dipped. I thought it was attributable to twice the opportunity of the coffee getting made.

Haha :slight_smile:its a good article,I just forwarded it on to my husband.

I must be weird but I never considered being married has having a ball and chain on me, or restricting my freedom either. That attitude just does not compute with me.

Not weird 🙂 You and your wife must have the right positive attitude .I like what member Edward posts about marriage, makes a lot of sense to me really .

The Orchid Mantis is a perfect example of Intelligent Design. It’s one of a kind and ingeniously thought out. If everything was a random accident I doubt we’d have such a variety of creatures. For the record, I do believe in Microevolution.

I believe in microprocessors. Is that close enough?

That’s pretty amazing!

I never would have seen it or noticed it, if I hadn’t seen its face moving.

It’s beautiful but deadly, that’s for sure! 😮

🤔 I wonder how many points a moth would be…

OK, sorry, that’s a Weight Watchers reference, couldn’t resist.

I’m down 17 pounds now. Only 73 to go.

I could believe it when they said some insects find the mantis more attractive than the orchid itself!

It’s the only fully grown, large insect I’ve seen which is nearly all white. Fascinating!

I’m still not entirely clear about which is mantis and which is orchid. No wonder those poor bugs are sucked in. 😁😜

Ok. Fresh coffee is up. Today blend:
Lenten Ashes
Orchids
A praying mantis
A can of sardines since it’s Friday
Two moles

Enjoy

Moles? I suppose they swim through the earth. Does that qualify them for a Friday in Lent?🐠
I know alligator is OK, although there are few of them in central Indiana.

Having real live coffee today,I know my head will be yelling for more tomorrow but oh well. 🙂
Taking one cup of Stepie’s special blend to numb my throat.I think those moles would sooth a sore throat, take the tickle away 🤔
