You’re thinking of Petco
. They used to sell woofers and meowers. Tweeters too

Petco doesn’t sell woofers, meowers, and tweeters anymore? That would be too bad. I k know several people who got their pets there.
We got our two cats at Petco, on a Sunday when they were having kitten adoptions. They had about nine kittens there – so much sweet cuteness, they were handing out free insulin injections to everyone considering adopting.Around here, they stopped selling dogs because of the backlash against puppy mills. They still do cat adoptions once a month from the local shelters. But this is P.C. Cali, so maybe they still sell dogs and cats in other states. Way back when I worked in a pet store, the owner said he made very little money from selling animals. All the money was in supplies and feed, so it was probably an easy decision for Petco.
So, it’s all my fault now, is it???This opinion piece was in our diocesan newspaper for some reason. Another kerfuffle from Down Under, as if we don’t have enough of our own
