After several balmy days and the flowers beginning to bloom, it SNOWED 2 to 3 inches today.

I think the trick was to lure you out side and dump snow on you 🧐
Our weather can be tricksy too, setting up a fine morning in Spring ,you go out ,and get rained on.

Just returning to a previous conversation, last Friday I was at Mass at our Cathedral and noticed that the statues were covered. They hadn’t been covered two weeks previously. So, for our Cathedral it’s somewhere in the middle of Lent. I guess they have an explanation.

Adelaide is settling into its traditional autumn weather. Mild and very pleasant, but more rain would make it perfect.

Nice new avatar. I feel like @Daisy is now looking into the very depths of my soul.
The eye is very similar to the avatar Tomyris used for most of her time here, albeit less stern. It makes me miss her. 😥
Maybe that will help some posters in their posting habits.
I hope so too. 😠😠😠

@Daisy is watching you. You know who you are. 😡

As for me, I just want to be left to my nap.

Ours are always covered beginning with the Sunday before Palm Sunday. Sometimes that Sunday 2 weeks before Easter is called Passion Sunday around here. I believe I mentioned showing up to help iron the purple coverings and felt really pleased about getting the wrinkles out of St. Joseph. 😀

Edmundus, a question: Do you prefer your eucalyptus leaves raw, or processed? And if processed, do you prefer baked, steamed, or chocolate-covered?

Wishing I could like :rage:consider yourselves liked.
Not sure, but I think I’m being greedy and snatching likes from your future
to hand out .Im confused.

I’ve just noticed one of the annual sub-conscious features of autumn in Adelaide - finding various items around the car and house which have suffered heat damage over summer. eg. Plastic book covers fused to shelves, bleached panels in the car. Over summer you just leave them, because there’s no point doing anything about them. In autumn you start thinking to fix them.

I guess some Mudgies have the opposite experience in spring.

I can no longer tell at first glance what colors the ribbons are in my missal because I left it in the car one summer and the ends sticking out bleached almost white. The parts inside are still their previous vibrant selves, which doesn’t do much good.

You people with your extreme weather! 😠
Los Angeles is a lot like Camelot in that, by law, July and August cannot be too hot.
In short, there’s simply not, a more congenial spot, for happy ever aftering than here in Camelos Angeles!

Ahaha 🤭
My daughter just returned from there and said it was cold.Lovely Autumn day here…quite warm for her welcome home .

Camelot? Yeah, from an overall weather perspective. That’s why people start complaining when it gets below 68 or above 75. Freezing is generally considered 59.

On the other hand, when you consider Camelot, you also have to consider all the horse droppings, and lavatory facilities. And the communal corn cob instead of toilet tissue.

There, much better for a Curmudgeon thread.

I’ve been to Camelot. But it just turned out to be a Lot filled with camo. Actually it was called Bass Pro Shop.
