I answered your question, just like I did before. You made an assumption that I have been damaged by the Bible, a claim I never made. So I answered in the context of your question. I have been talking about the Catholic church and faith, not the Bible

I am honest and am not afraid to be honest, though my honesty is troublesome for catholics and the church because my story is a testament of shame for the church. And I am not the only one, there are many, many more people like me who have been abused by priests, by nuns, by catholics, all in the name of Jesus and according to His “will” - and this is a black stain for the church, one that the church tries to ignore and pretend is not true.
I am not surprised by hostility towards me as it is a common response not only to me but other victims of church abuse - it is our fault, or we are “bashing” the church for stepping forward.

Why the hostility Hellisreal?
I am a former catholic as I think most people have picked up by now. I am not a christian so I do not use a Bible. I believe in the God who loves me and who saved me when I had despaired of everything and sought to end my life. I believe in His love, which He Is.
In order to have peace I have to make peace with my past and those who have hurt me. I have ends to tie up. That is why I want to dialogue with catholics and see if I can find answers or some resolution. So here I am.
Why would I do that and when have I mocked catholics in regard to the Bible?

I have to say that the right answer at the wrong time will make it wrong answer. In my opinion, I think it is best to slow down in discussion everything at once. There are many things to discuss here and if we don’t take time, it will end up more hurts than understanding.

Is this honestly a serious question? There is one Bible, with various translations. The Douay-Rheim, the KJV, the New International etc.
