Dog tags. 😉
Dog tags in my area only has a shot number on it, and due to privacy laws, no one is willing to give out that information. However, this owner had his own made up tag that had enough information to send him a “sorry to hear of your loss” card with a note.

Leave it in the road and call animal control. In the city I live in I think it’s actually illegal to dispose of it in the garbage can.
Not in my area, in fact that is what the police suggests — along with some precautions like avoid direct contact by using a shovel to push it in the can.

👍

Yes, I can see that you live in a different time zone. Quite different.

Also yes, God trumps anything I say. Quite right.

So to you, experimentation on them - is acceptable - if - reasonable () - and if - contributes - to humans. Quite . . . sad.

🙂
why do you make every post in single line form, with the first letter of each line in red font, and with a smiley face at the end? Do you not see how others could find that annoying and obnoxious?

Ridiculous. Animals do not have souls. We don’t have a Mass for them at their death. Their purpose is for man’s benefit. Call animal control and don’t touch it.
Ya yeah, catholic churches do have a pet blessin mass, first week october 🙂
This Sunday, Catholic churches around the country are inviting community members to bring their pets to church in an annual Blessing of the Pets mass.
Guided by tradition, churches this week will celebrate St. Francis of Assisi, who is best known as the patron saint of animals.

The reason you would have an obligation to notify the owner is not out of respect for the life of the pet. It is out of respect for the life of the owner, who probably loved that pet very much. That is why you don’t bother showing a lot of respect to a dead racoon or groundhog, but you do show respect for a dead border collie, German shepherd, or Abyssinian.
Amen, and I am betting you are ok with showing kindness to living animals too.

I think charity calls for us to assume it’s not intended to be annoying, but I have to admit that it does raise an eyebrow…🤷

Of course, but what I said was, “do you not see how others could find that annoying and obnoxious?” It likely isn’t intentional, but it’s unnecessary

Excuse me. I did not think I had to be specific on that. Animals to not have immortal souls. We will not see our pets in heaven. When they die, they are dead. Completely dead.🤷
Yes you do need to be specific not everbody can read minds yuh know.🙂
i don’t disagree with you when you state that animals are dead they are gone.

It is certainly harder to read.
