There is no longer any biblical mandate to kill sinners. Those edicts were for a hard hearted people who needed an extremely legalistic life in order to stay on track since God had not yet incarnated in Jesus Christ. Many sinners still die in their sins, and lose eternal life rather than temporal life. The moral code is written on our hearts.Hi all… I know the RCC says that homosexuality is gravely wrong and disorderd…
But it seems they stop short of the biblical commandment to kill them…
Leviticus clearly states they should be killed… in new testament it is described as crime worthy of death…
so should they be killed by government for their actions? or no?
I know this isn’t funny really, but I still got a chuckle from your last question “should they be killed by the government for their actions”? Well, of course not, for starters. Even if Christians retained Levitical code, our governments (with the exception of many of the Islamic nations) are secular, and the thing that I found ironically funny is that I think it is much more likely that those who believe in sexual morality, and endeavor to not live in sin would be the ones that the government starts rounding up and killing because of hatred for Christians and Christianity. Never met a sin that the government wouldn’t go out of it’s way to enshrine in law and protect with all due diligence.
