Heard of the Paul Plan to Restore America?
Yes, I have… I am pretty sure it is full of cuts. Like I said, I agree on many points, but from a democratic perspective, which is what I began this point with, he isn’t leading on issues, he simply says no. I am not saying I disagree with him, but he will be attacked for that in the election.
He’s taking his hands off of the issue because he doesn’t believe it’s the role of government to decide that. However, personally, he is against both of these.
Our occupation there is killing people everyday. Do you sit well with that?
This is exactly what I said. He takes his hands off of every social issues regardless of its importance. That is wrong. It is a fundamental human right to life, and there are states all over the country who would, if left up to them, allow abortion. He won’t do anything to stop that. Imagine if there weren’t a national amendment to prevent the discrimination against blacks or on the legality of slavery. It would be an entirely different world. When it comes to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, the federal government must step in to prevent acts that are fundamentally apposed with unalienable right to life. Ron Paul is wrong on this issues. I am a person who lives in America not an American who happens to be a person. The right to life is much more important than the Constitution, as the Constitution was made by man while the right to life was made by God.
No, I don’t like being at war. No, I don’t like that our soldiers are dying. If it were up to me there would be no wars. But they are soldiers who volunteered to serve the United States of America, and being a soldier they may have to lay their life down for our freedom. I am very grateful to every soldier that serves, and I think they would agree that that is part of their job. That is what we are talking about here. America was attacked on 9/11/01. It is over. It is done. Almost 3,000 people died. There are people in the region who are working to get nuclear weapons to kill not only our soldiers and Israel’s soldiers but also to kill your kid who you just tucked into bed, you neighbor’s kid who you saw running around outside earlier today, you pregnant friend who is excited to have a baby soon. The region we are fighting would love nothing more than to see a flat New York City and children dying from radiation. I am not saying that we start provoking wars with Iran, but allowing them to get a nuclear weapon or a nuclear program would result not only in the death of thousands of American and Israeli soldiers but potentially millions of innocent people as well.
We can leave the region. Perhaps they will accept our sincere apology and stop hating us. That could rebuild our relationship with them, who knows? But the fact of the matter is we don’t know, and if they have a nuclear weapon it will already be too late.
