From your statement I can say that she was incarnated by the power of the Holy spirit and became woman. That mean that she is consubstantial with her father and with her mother. Is that correct? If I am wrong please explain why. I would appreciate if you could tell me if Mary was created.
No she was not, incarnate of The Holy Spirit, as u know God knew Adam and Eve were going to sin, God had reserved the names Jesus and Mary, for his one and only son, and his mother, The Women who was going to bring forth God in the flesh.

Only Jesus was Incarnate of The Holy Spirit, Not Our Blessed Mother.

i have been reading the Mystical City of God, im still on the first book, then i heard about, The life and times of Jesus Christ and biblical revelations. i was thinking about buying it and was reading the reviews on amazon.com and someone said that Anne in her book says that more than 8 people entered into Noah’s ark, So this got me thinking, now i havent read the book, but can someone verify if she really did write that? is the book approved by the Catholic Church? i know people say saints can make mistakes regarding private revelations but that doesnt make any sense. If God is talking to u, how can u misinterpret the meaning?

Should i get the book? or is that reviewer lying, trying to get people not to buy the book?

thanks in advance.
You can read it online if you want: sacred-texts.com/chr/pjc/index.htm

So God was the father but not the person of the Holy Spirit. I assume that you are then talking about the Father (the GodHead). If that is true then the Holy Spirit must proceed from the Father through Mary and through the Son.

You also did not answer to my direct question by showing why I am not correct, and you did not say if you agree that she is consubstatial with her father and her mother. You also did not answer if she was created or not.

You stated that “God had reserved the names Jesus and Mary (in Hebrew Miriam), for his one and only son, and his mother” that is not consistent with the fact that Miriam was a common name before the BVM. How do you explain that Miriam was the name of Mose’s sister if that name was reserved for the BVM?

See the Trinity is a mysterious we can’t understand how God works, we have God The Father,God The Son,God The Holy Spirit, remember when God created Adam and Eve God said let us make man in OUR image.

anyway yes Our Blessed Mother was created by God, see The Father,Son,Holy Spirit were always there, Our Blessed Mother was created by God, also about God reserving those names, just because Moses’ sister was that name, doesnt changed anything, The Ark of Covenant in The Old Testament symbolizes The Virgin Mary, Because shes carrying The True Law.

You are just making a lot of random statements that do not apply to my questions. The only answer that you gave is the Mary was created.

how do u think Mary of Agreda felt when God was telling her this?

its like your talking 2 a fish. The human mind cannot understand God, dumb down your question so i can maybe understand u more.

Thanks, but i was looking for the 4 volume set, as i posted before(1st page) the review of someone saying, that Blessed Anne said more than 8 people entered into the Noah’s Ark,
I was checking to see if the reviewer was lying, or thats what is said in the book.
I read the abridged form and I believe that she said that Anne and Joachim had a daughter, Mary, before the Blessed Virgin, and she was a teenager when Our Blessed Mother was born.

I don’t believe that’s true either. Her insights are interesting, but I would take her visions with “a grain of salt” since some don’t correspond with Church teachings.

We know that even Saints have their own interpretations, and it could be that some are wrong. However, the suffering Mary felt when her Jesus suffered the Passion touched me immensely, and I believe that this part is certainly true.

Guess we won’t know for sure until we get to Heaven, then all our questions will be answered.

My mom read the abridged version, and my dad, no where does it say that in the book, i think its misunderstanding, like i said before im still on the 1st book of The Mystical City of God, and again St.Joachim and St.Anne did not have relations.

Also this is what my buddy said to me regarding Blessed Anne writings.
  1. Here is what i found on the forum "(…) from an article regarding the writings of A. C. Emmerich:
"Emmerich’s cause for beatification came to a halt in 1928 after it was discovered that Clemens Brentano, the man who compiled her visions into a book in 1833, ‘had fabricated almost all the material attributed to her.’
The problem with the Dolorous Passion and the books that were compiled from Brentano’s notes after his death (the Life of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the four-volume Life of Jesus Christ and Biblical Revelations, and the Life of Anne Catherine Emmerich), says Sandra Miesel, is that they are ridden with historical errors and fanciful descriptions, and there is no way of distinguishing between Emmerich’s contribution and Brentano’s."

The best thing to do is to pray a Holy Rosary about those two issues.

i think i’ll just stay with the Mystical City Of God.

LG 350, I find it had to believe that you actually believe what your reading in this book " The Mystical City Of God".

Seriously, NO WAY St Anne was a virgin when giving birth to BVM! Nor do I believe this… thats one of the reasons lucifer fell from Heaven, because The Blessed Virgin Mary is second to God, and he wanted to be worshiped, he didn’t want to bow down to a human being. God was more satisfied with the creation of the Virgin Mary then the entire universe. Virgin Mary is perfect, Jesus is perfect. There was no way God would allow St.Joachim and Anne to have relations to bring forth the New Ark of Covenant. 😦

Sorry, but if you are reading all this from the book by Mary of Agreda & believe it, then I gotta a bridge from Hawaii to California I would like to sell you, CHEAP! 😃

A google search for Joachim and Anne reveals that they first appeared in an apocryphal work of the mid second century, long after the death of any eyewitnesses, called the Protevangelium of James. Like many other pious fictions, it was invented to fill the gaps in the Biblical record, but is full of obvious legends like Jesus bringing clay birds to life. It follows the familiar OT pattern of the barren wife pleading for a child, and the promise that the child to be born will be special and dedicated to the Lord for some great work; the author of this novel obviously borrowed the story of Hannah the mother of Samuel. Although the BVM obviously had a mother and father, there is not a shred of historical evidence that Ann and Joachim ever existed, much less that Mary was herself born of a virgin. The Gospel is full of enough plausible marvels to praise for eternity, without making up poor copies. Believe pious fables if you wish, but since the church has left belief in private revelations optional, we have no grounds for being dogmatic about them.

Well u do realize The Mystical City of God is approved by The Catholic Church right?

John 16:12 I have yet many things to say to you: but you cannot bear them now.

if u choose not to believe St.Anne was virgin when she had our Blessed Mother, well then thats your decision. What do u think Immaculate Conception means?

Who ever reads The Mystical City of God is Blessed and will understand The Bible so much more.

The Immaculate Conception means that the BVM was conceived without original sin. But she was conceived in the normal way by two normal human beings.

Only Christ was born of a virgin. No one else.

Please show to us where the Church expressed approval of this book.

I think that you seriously confused between the concept of Immaculate Conception and Virgin Birth. The first does not necessitate the second, they are unrelated.

of course Our Blessed Mother was born of a virgin, and like i said before St.Joachim and St.Anne did not have relations! do u really think God would allow The Second Eve and The New Ark of Covenant, to be born like everyone else? Search it,it is Church approved.

Our Blessed Mother was bringing forth God in the flesh, everything has to be perfect.
Just repeating the same thing over and over does not make it true. You are not capable to show that the Church has approved any of the statements that you are making or the book that you are mentioning. I think that you are free to believe what you want, but that does not make it true and/or approved by the Church.

That is a link that mentions the imprimatur. The imprimatur is not an endorsement by the bishop of the contents of a book, not even of the religious opinions expressed in it, being merely a declaration about what is not in the book. The imprimatur is not an approval from the Church in regards to the contents of a book. A cooking book with terrible recipes that nobody would dare to eat could have the imprimatur of a Bishop, even a science fiction book could have an imprimatur.

yo man who says u have to believe it? only difference is the people who read the book now, know this info on earth, other people will find out once they leave purgatory and say WOW! like i said it is approved search it,
