“What I did was allowed”. No what? She wants everyone to believe that. It isn’t true but that doesn’t matter. If she says it over and over again, somebody will fall for it.

The fact of this is - IT IS AN EXTREME VIOLATION OF NATIONAL SECURITY TO EXPOSE CLASSIFIED MATERIAL TO ANYONE WITHOUT THE REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE AND THE NEED TO KNOW! EXTREME VIOLATIONS RECEIVE EXTREME CONSEQUENCES.

Ask the Rosenbergs! If you are too young to know about them … ask Snowden! There have been traitors and there have been Traitors! Benedict Arnold should be on her list of email recipients.

This law of our land cannot be toyed with for the “special” political elite. Sandy Berger stuffed classified information into his pants and walked out of the secure area. What did he get for consequences?

Haven’t we had enough of lying, narcissistic, tin type dictators?

What Democrat is willing to speak the truth about this treachery?
 
I never thought we would reach the day when a presidential candidate:
  1. is blatantly caught red-handed attempting to hide their activities from required disclosure,
  2. and in doing so expose the national secrets of the US to virtually every other nation’s intelligence services,
and even with all that, STILL be considered a viable candidate.

My concern is this issue is being exposed too early.By next year at this time it will be all but forgotten.:eek:
 
If Hillary said this, you know it’s true. I also believe that she made all her own cattle future trades, that she was named after then-unknown beekeeper Sir Edmund Hillary, that Chelsea was jogging around the WTC when the planes struck, that her foundation is ethical and above board, that she is the champion of women AND raped 12 yo girls, that she took sniper fire in Bosnia, that she did all she could in Benghazi and told the truth to victims’ families, that the Rose Law Firm records were really lost, and that she was shocked so horribly that she “could hardly breathe” when she learned of Bill’s dalliances. P.S. Oh, and Vince Foster committed suicide in Fort Marcy Park…😉

I really don’t believe any politicians. Not Hillary, not any of them. I believe they all lie. Some more than others.

With the Rosenbergs the crime was severe and the penalties great - death.

With** Snowden **… a sort of banishment with threats of what would happen if he ever returned.

Benedict Arnold was SORT of banished … from the new U.S. but lived relatively comfortably in England (though his ally Major Andre was caught and executed).

**Sandy Berger **- got caught … but more than a bit of embarrassment and a slap on the hand, not much happened to him.

General Petraeus seems to have done less than Hillary, lost his job and got jail time.

THEN there are those that skip or get excused due to their clout or something. 🤷

True. Many people don’t care about it now. She’s still the frontrunner among Democrats, and polls show she’d beat Trump if the election were held right now.

I know,frightening for sure.Yet,from what I hear on the radio,the voters’ are pretty much fed up with the same old same,ie: Clinton,Bush and many of the others’.This is why the Donald is polling higher.He isn’t the typical beltway politician.

I hope this is a preamble to further enlightenment actually. (Your being an associate professor of theology intrigued me).

We are supposed to vote. Sometimes we have two or more choices that are not what we’d like to endorse. Then we get into those philosophical examinations of whether it’s right to abstain (partially or altogether) or vote for the least worst choice … or the ones that at least SAY they are against the moral “non-negotiables”.

I can’t yet tell whether you are now still mulling the problem over … :hmmm: or thinking:

:eek: - “Something must be done … !” or

:nope: - “Nothing can be done …” or

:tsktsk: - " At THIS point … what …does …it … matter !"

🤷 It may be that’s all you have to say on the matter. If so … thanks for the above.

I would never vote for Clinton, but I’d never vote for Trump, either. Don’t know who I’d trust the most at this point because I don’t know enough about some of them. I agree Trump is popular because he’s not a politician. People are sick of lying narcissists like most politicians are. (Not pointing my finger at any politician in particular, just saying, “in general.”) They want a president who’s truthful with them for a change. Me, too.

I consider it my ethical duty to vote, but I haven’t made up my mind who I support yet. I need to learn more about some of the candidates. And the complexion of things will no doubt be very different a year from now.
 
From a PR standpoint, which is how I earned money while I was in college, Clinton should just admit she made a mistake, be contrite, and move on. But that is not her style. And that’s one of the reasons I’d never vote for her. I don’t trust her.
