A real head scratcher for sure!
Historically, Democrats were on sound ground rejecting Republican hyperbole about their views. These days, however, when you look at the array of positions in the party

l donāt see how it possibly can given the Dem majority in the House. So the GOP needs to deliver on some health care reform.
news.gallup.com
House races are different, incumbents have money and they can downplay the issues in the survey yet still rile the dem base. I donāt think they will take ground in the Senate, but also donāt yet see a compelling GOP agenda to sweep the house.l donāt see how it possibly can given the Dem majority in the House.
If you were looking to have free stuff promised to you, last nightās debate was for you. Free health care, free college, free entry into the countryā¦the only āfreeā that didnāt warrant a mention from anyone on the stage was individual freedom.
Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren clashed with Tim Ryan and John Delaney over how far left the party should go, while āGuruā Marianne Williamson talked about ādark psychic forcesā and Pete Buttigieg bashed Christians for not raising the minimum wage.
It was so far left that even CNN and MSNBC hosts talked about how wildly unpopular many of the ideas being sold are with the general public.
Iām certainly skeptical of polling after the 2016 election, but let me ask this: which possible 2-4 candidates do you believe will still be standing on stage when it finally boils down? This doesnāt look good at all for the Democrats. However, based on the 2016 election, can we really trust polls?
