Four terms? what history book are you reading? He was the first & last to have 3 terms. The made a term limit of two after he was out of office
 
Biden delivered a speech that was better than I expected. Obama’s speech was brilliantly constructed throughout and heartfelt, especially toward the end.

He had begun his fourth term when he died in Hot Springs, GA.

I believe he died shortly after he was elected to his fourth term. '32, '36, '40, and’44.

It is confusing because he died so early in his fourth term. Truman would have exceeded the current 10 year limit had he run again and won.
