Obviously more needs to be done than just individual charity. So maybe cutting taxes on the rich man Jesus talked with isn’t the best idea.Christian/ Conservatives overwhelmingly give more of their treasure to the disadvantaged. This is a documented fact.
Well, it’s not fake moral outrage. It’s real moral outrage. If you really cared, you would consider Americans first and not this fake moral outrage
He did just 2 posts above yours. You must have missed it.Maybe pick that mic back up!![]()
Exactly.Well, it’s not fake moral outrage. It’s real moral outrage.
I really do have neighbors who can’t afford to feed themselves. But increasing defense spending by $54 billion and cutting safety net programs that poor people rely on is not going to put food on their table.
If it were a true “drop the mic” moment, he/she would not need to pick it back up and continue. Maybe you missed what it means? But keep on keeping on.He did just 2 posts above yours. You must have missed it.
I think if Americans were put under “global” dominance, we would be in a very bad way.The left are globalists,Obama said and did everything in his power to diminish the U.S. throughout the world.
How refreshing to actually have a president ,once again who loves and is proud of this country and wants to put us first.Gotta love it!
That’s great and kudo’s to you! Your not starving though? YOu do have a place to live? What I mean to say is that you look after yourself first right?I don’t have much money and so do go without quite a bit myself. But I do give money and food to a neighbor when I can when she and her family don’t have enough for food. I have also allowed people who don’t have a place to live to stay in my house for a while until they could find a place of their own.
As for the US, it is one of the richest countries in the world and could certainly afford to feed, shelter and provide health care to all its own people and to also help other countries if there was a desire by most of its citizens to do so.
Absolutely!I think if Americans were put under “global” dominance, we would be in a very bad way.
Yes maybe they could? BUt that is their problem before God! We have no Idea what these people do when we are not watching or judging them!Maybe some of the rich people in my church who have two or three houses, several cars, etc. could do a little more to help the poor both in our own country and in other countries. It’s not unusual for me to park next to a Bentley or a Lexus when I go to church. Maybe that member of my church could drive a Ford or a Subaru instead and donate the money to charity. Maybe some of them who live in $3 million dollar homes (and have another $1 million dollar home somewhere else) could afford to downsize to something cheaper so that they could help others out who aren’t so fortunate.
Does that rich man run a business that employs people? Or is he just hoardeing his gold coins?Obviously more needs to be done than just individual charity. So maybe cutting taxes on the rich man Jesus talked with isn’t the best idea.
How do you know they aren’t donating enough? I was the same way until I found out several of these people were actually donating scholarships and funding retreats. Be careful questioning parishioners behavior you can only see!Maybe some of the rich people in my church who have two or three houses, several cars, etc. could do a little more to help the poor both in our own country and in other countries. It was such a moment but then he thought of even more to say. More than 1 mic can be dropped on the same CAF thread. If it were a true “drop the mic” moment, he/she would not need to pick it back up and continue. Maybe you missed what it means? But keep on keeping on.![]()
To be honest, I don’t think anyone really needs to live in a multi-million dollar home (or even more than one) or have more than one car per person or to drive a Bentley. If someone has that much money, they could give even more. How do you know they aren’t donating enough? That was my point but I see class warfare is on your mind.To be honest, I don’t think anyone really needs to live in a multi-million dollar home (or even more than one) or have more than one car per person or to drive a Bentley. If someone has that much money, they could give even more.
He didn’t actually have a mic. He was just typing! It was such a moment but then he thought of even more to say. More than 1 mic can be dropped on the same CAF thread.![]()
I know a man who bought a Rolls Royce probably three decades ago. He’s still driving it. And, he’s a pretty generous man. I think he had an exceptional year and had always wanted a Rolls Royce, and got one believing the hype about how a Rolls is a “lifetime car”. And maybe it is, for all I know.Maybe some of the rich people in my church who have two or three houses, several cars, etc. could do a little more to help the poor both in our own country and in other countries. It’s not unusual for me to park next to a Bentley or a Lexus when I go to church. Maybe that member of my church could drive a Ford or a Subaru instead and donate the money to charity. Sy, you really crack me up sometimes!!! Do you cross your arms and scowl at the audience too?It was such a moment but then he thought of even more to say. More than 1 mic can be dropped on the same CAF thread.![]()
Good for you, but to be honest it is not your call and ou should not judge somone only because they have money! To be honest, I don’t think anyone really needs to live in a multi-million dollar home (or even more than one) or have more than one car per person or to drive a Bentley. If someone has that much money, they could give even more.
Wow, judge others much. Did you ever think that maybe those Bentley drivers DO in fact donate to charities.Maybe some of the rich people in my church who have two or three houses, several cars, etc. could do a little more to help the poor both in our own country and in other countries.
