That’s not socialism, that’s corporate cronyism. Socialism would be if they actually controlled Boeing et al. Which we know they don’t.
The article you posted says the following:

While I agree with you that nothing they are calling socialism, is actually socialism, I fail to see any meaningful difference between “Increased fuel emissions standards for airlines,” “expansion of wind and solar tax credits,” and giving $450 Billion to corporations directly.
Neither is socialism, and neither is substantially different than the other. They may all in theory provide a public benefit for a public investment. Or, perhaps, none of them will. They are two sides of the same coin, one is just supported by Republicans, and the other two by Democrats.
In my mind, the truly abhorrent idea in the bill is the secrecy clause. How can the public benefit by concealing the recipients? It can’t, the only beneficiary would be those who receive a bailout and get to conceal it until AFTER the election.
