Well…we’ve got seven months in on this already. The GOP had better hope that they can find a Deep Throat or John Dean pretty soon. They have produced nothing to stir the American people to the level of interest or anger that Watergate generated.
Of course the people cared about the deaths of the Americans, and they care about the dozens of military members who have died since then…they just don’t think that hearing after hearing is necessary in order to honor the dead. If that was the case, we’d be having hearings after every IED or other terrorist act anywhere in the world.
I’ve been watching Fox all morning…a fleeting reference to the hearing, mainly a few GOP members saying we need more hearings…then cut immediately to lengthy analysis of Jodi Arias or the Cleveland case.
When you can’t even get one network (one that carried it constantly in the past) to carry the water for you…your cause has had its moment.

The timeline should be stated as a matter of fact with regards to Watergate. Benghazi is only 8 months ago.
There may have been hearings on Benghazi already but the questions are there.
Hillary famously said “WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?”, if anything, that stirs up more curiosity.

Attempting to rewrite the history of Watergate, as some here and elsewhere are doing does nothing but make them look silly. Nixon was involved in illegal acts from the outset and admitted that in his interviews with David Frost. Two investigative reporters broke the story, but the broader media, including their own paper, refused to print speculation and innuendo…they waited until the facts were overwhelming and the witnesses were from the highest level…now…that’s all we are hearing…if this happened…if they decided together…if…if…
The time has come to pony up on some facts…not another theory.

Exactly, she went on five Sunday talk shows echoing that point, because of it and it was apparently false, her name was withdrawn from being Secretary of State.

There have been “hearings” so far, I suppose there should be hearings until we know what happened.
Not only were Americans’ lives lost but one of the Seals valiantly may have saved 30 persons’ lives. Until now, we have not heard their testimony.
