I have not posted anything on Trump"s calling some people animals. I only answered monte’s question, and noted my surprise at your insouciance about it.

Oh sure, you only used it as part of a sentence in which you accuse me of being indifferent to Trump’s language, but you did take the occasion to bring it up again. I never said you weren’t clever and subtle in the ways you insult people, because you very often are. This time it was a “threefur”, which you know and fully intended; three insults (granted, some repeats from other liberals on here and not original with you) in one post. You do it better than many.

No apology. You attacked me in this instance, and quite gratuitously. I invited you to leave me alone, which I have done previously. But you insist on doing this. So you get what you get.

We get it. You didn’t have to explain. If Trump uses a harsh epithet on someone, he’s to be damned for it. But if someone calls him one, that’s okay because all ugly things aimed at Trump are deserved.

And if some ordinary person doesn’t agree, you call him a “swine”.

I didn’t leave your Democrat party for that. I left it because of its dedication to abortion. But even without abortion, I suspect I would leave today’s Dem party if they act like you’re acting.

What does that even mean. You may want to save face in your accusation that I called you an animal name, but you are absolutely in error about that. I did not use the phrase against you; I simply reminded you of the fact that when it had been used against you by another poster, you went ballistic - even as now you think that same name calling is no big deal. Pointing out the inconsistency in your argument is a just criticism of your argument. it is not an attack on your person.

Do you think that these quotes might be something to take to the moderators?
Should a case be made that since Jesus spoke these words that name calling is authorized and should not be against forum rules?

According to scripture and our creed, Jesus is authorized to judge.
That is not given to us, instead what is demanded of us is love.

For you, this is feeble. You’re usually much more effective in excusing insults.

You call me a swine here on CAF and you think that’s justified by my not condemning Trump for calling MS-13 killers “animals”? And that was one of three insults in the same very short post.
