I’m so sorry, Teresa
Remembering you and your son in my prayers tonight. God bless :console:

I know lots of moms who were surprised at the relief they experienced when their alcoholic/drug addicted child was put in jail! You know he’s safe, you know he’s drying out, you know he’s getting care. You know he’s not hurting himself or anyone else!I thank each and every one of you for your prayers.
I had a phone call this afternoon from a solicitor representing my son in a court proceeding…I had heard nothing from the police to notify me they had found my son.It has been a very worrying time indeed and my husband and I have had little sleep.I am so relieved he is alive as we all in the family had really feared the worst.
He has been remanded to prison until July 23rd for his next court date and actually it is a relief for all of us to know where he is and that he is safe.
I had a phone call this evening from a prison officer to tell me my son is ok and settled into a shared cell with an older person.he put my mind at rest and offered to give my son a message…which I thought was really kind.
My husband and I have been through some of the toughest times in our lives these past few weeks and I thank each and every one of you for your prayers love and support and advice…I could not have gotten through this without each of you.
God has heard and answered all our prayers. I continue to pray that my son will get the guidance and support to help change his life and turn his life around.
AmenJesus, You foresaw Your capture and the judgement that would be made against You, with its consequences, and You suffered terribly, seeking the prayer and support of Your closest friends in the Garden.
Mother Mary you heard the whispers against your Son. You were helpless against His adversaries and faced all that He endured with a Mother’s grief.
Jesus have mercy,
and Mother Mary please intercede powerfully for this young man and his family.
Jesus, in this situation, the parents and son live in ongoing shock.
They never expected such a thing to occur in their family. They go to sleep with this, wake in the night with it, and it confronts them when they wake to face their day.
Hear their prayer that their son will be shocked into reconsidering his lifestyle and choices.
Fill him with deep, ongoing conversion.
Minimize or dispense with any sentence, and protect him from harm.
Please ensure that he has all the help and guidance he needs to live his life according to his highest temporal and spiritual welfare, and that of his family.
“The souls that are most dear to my Father” Jesus said to Saint Teresa of Jesus (Avila) “are those He tries the most, and the greatness of their trials is the measure of His love.”
Thankyou so much Bevsue for this beautiful prayer God bless youDear Teresa, I pray that you would be able to lay this load you and your husband have been carrying for Tom, at the feet of Jesus, during this time he is in jail and you know where he is. Lord please take some of the immediacy of this concern for their son off their shoulders, so they could rest and regroup in Your strength and love. Please build them up in Your Spirit and renew their faith in Your ability and enthusiastic willingness to work mightly on behalf of Your children’s salvation and healing. Encourage their hearts that You have heard their prayers, and that You are at work in Tom’s life. Support them, dear Lord, with Your peace and the truth of Your faithfulness.
Lord, please send St. Michael to defend Tom against the enemies arrayed against his soul. Jesus, our Champion and defeater of Satan and all evil, please expose the works of darkness and evil in Tom’s life to him, so that the revealing is undeniable. Bring to Tom’s mind the truths he learned as a child - that You are the Way, the Truth and the Life…that You are the Savior of his soul…that You can defeat these enemies and no one else can. Bring him to the point dear Lord where he calls on Your name and recognises his need for you.
Thankyou so much 77stanthony77 God bless you.Teresa, just wanted you to know I am praying for your son and the rest of the family
Sacred heart of Jesus please hear our prayers
St. Maximilian Kolbe is the patron saint of prisoners and addicts. In September 1939 the Nazis imprisoned him and forty of his friars after ransacking Niepokalanow and confiscating the friars’ printing equipment. Fr. Kolbe and the friars were released three months later.
In February 1941 Maximilian was imprisoned once again and shortly thereafter was sent to the extermination camp at Auschwitz. At great personal risk, he secretly heard confessions, counseled his fellow inmates, prayed with them and shared his meager food with them.
St. Maximilian pray for us!At the end of July he volunteered to take the place of a prisoner who had been condemned to the starvation bunker. He led his nine companions in the starvation bunker in hymns and prayers as they slowly starved to death. Needing the cell for other prisoners, the Nazis killed him with an injection of carbolic acid on August 14, 1941. Today relatives and friends of prisoners and drug addicts seek St. Maximilian’s intercession on behalf of their loved ones. miprisonministry.com/k1.html
