OK, if we are not held temporally responsible, what time is the next flight to the Garden of Eden? Oh, there is none.

So therefore we are held temporally responsible for the sins of our ancestors.

If we are baptised and free from mortal sin we can now enter heaven.

Nope. That guarantees purgatory.

To go to heaven, one must be perfect. No sins, not even a smidgen, not even the least attachment to sin. Otherwise, purgatory is the place to be.
