Did Jesus "Know" God?

… Just my own personal limited observation.

I find this passage helps me contemplate Jesus - my brother …

John 11: 32-35

*When Mary came to where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said to him, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.”

When Jesus saw her weeping and the Jews who had come with her weeping, he became perturbed 7 and deeply troubled,

and said, “Where have you laid him?” They said to him, “Sir, come and see.”

And Jesus wept*

…while this one has me trying to visualize more Jesus - my God , yet weeping over his chosen ones:

Luke 19: 39-44

*Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.”

He said in reply, “I tell you, if they keep silent, the stones will cry out!”

As he drew near, he saw the city and wept over it, saying

saying, "If this day you only knew what makes for peace–but now it is hidden from your eyes.

For the days are coming upon you when your enemies will raise a palisade against you; they will encircle you and hem you in on all sides.

They will smash you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave one stone upon another within you because you did not recognize the time of your visitation." *

Both accounts say “He wept”. If there were no tears, I do not see what other evidence the writers would have used to be able to state this. Even so, theologians shouldn’t forget that people also weep on the inside - not solely the outside, and that tears are, in fact, simply an exterior manifestation of what is going on in the soul.
