The only thing I ponder is to seek, ask and knock not to be lead away from God’s truth. Your statement says it all—“without questioning possibility that you might be missing something”

It is the free right of every soul, which we are no longer under bondage like Jesus said. “I have set you free indeed”. To question, ask, seek and knock to know God’s truth and not be lead away with myths, if myths and to beable within our souls to know our Heavenly Father.

Nobody who it is, I think God is pleased when we ask Him, seek him, ask him, serve him and to becareful not to let other souls to lead us by their own beliefs.

How much have you love me?
Why have you turned you back to me?
But you do not ask? Jesus said.
Have you not heard? Have you not studied? Have you not read" How you not read what Issaih said? Have you not known what Mose did…etc. Jesus says!

My faithfulness is to God and God only do I trust. With out him I can accomplish nothing, but with God all things are possible! I believe God hears my prayers, my conversations with him!
I trust in God only.God is not dead, God knows and sees all things, God is eternal!

I choose! For I will be judged by God not by anyone else, for when I stand before Him–How much have you loved me? etc. Only God can save us!

God Bless
Stop ranting.

Do you believe that the Catholic Church teaches that “we got the name virgin” because Mary was born with out original sin?

One word answer please: Yes or no.

What you are missing is that it really doesn’t matter exactly what the Bible says, as we read it. It only matters what the Church says that it says. In the end, this is realy a meaningless discussion. In order to be Catholic, one must believe whatever interpretation the Church gives because the interpretation is devinely inspired. If you don’t believe in the divine interpretation, you aren’t really Catholic.
I ask knowing if Mary have fallen human nature will not get you into Heaven and that is not what it is all about ------do we not lose God’s whole message and Jesus Christ great love and suffering for us? To know such things does it make you HOLY, pleasing to God??
I do not like the “must” God forces no one to love him! That is not Love.

The Bible came to be through the “Divine Power of God”, the “instrument” who God chooses is not important like many, many, many, saints have expressed!

For “one “to be Catholic” which and where I have chosen to Worship God—you say–In order to be Catholic, one must believe 'whatever” interpretations the Church gives, because the “interpretation is divine”.

St. Peter clearly tells us, Chapter 1 verse 20

Know this “first of all” that there is “NO” prophecy of Scripture that is a matter of " personal interpretation", for “NO prophecy” ever came “THROUGH” human will: but rather “human beings” moved by the “HOLY” Spirit spoke under the “Influence of God”!

Thereforth it is not the “human being” we are to worship or glorify but that we receive the message and becareful for even the elect can be fooled if that is possible. But to love. pray for all the Pope, priest, bishops all souls upon the face of the world even our enemies. But no has the right to force anyone.

Please read Chapter 2 false teachers— Whereas angels, despite “their superior strength and power”, “do not bring a “reviling judgment”” against them from the Lord. We are not to judge anyone, but serve, all are to serve and spread the gospels not to exploit or fabricate God word, but to spread God’s word his gospel. We are not to argue over God’s word for it is futil and brings much damage to ones own soul!!

If anyone gives you a “gospel other than the one” we have “born witness” to do not receive them! Trust in God and God only. I am not judging anyone or religion no more than anyone can judge my soul or my deep deep love of God our Lord Jesus Christ! Obey his laws, commandments , his feast days. Serve through your action your deep love for God.

For we all have received even the Catholic Church so no one can boast, for all have received, we have received God’s word! So know one can boast but if you boast boast of what you have received!!! We are all God’s children. God has a great plan for our salvations.

Love to all and stop arguing over God’s word but rather ask, seek knock, serve, spread the gospels and tell people what God has done for you and for all that Jesus loves them no matter if your sins are as red as Scarlet!

God Bless

Meaning the Holy Spirit blows upon whom it WILLS. God chose Mary, God chose Joseph, God chose Moses, God chose Daniel, God chose Daniel, God chose Little Teresa, God chose Mother Theresa they all seved God, gave a message, actions speak louder than words, God chose Mandela, etc. Jesus Christ on the Cross! It is not about just a church or organization or to argue over different religion for we who believe make up the “Spiritual Church”— Christ!

This is what I mean. To worry about or even have topics of such things like this of Mary is a “disgrace to me” Shame on us that we all are wasting our time on such nothingness and brings forth no good fruit! We are not God, nor such infinite wisdom or know God’s thought, In todays world. Jesus Christ did not die on the cross for this to be talking about his Mother for are we not all judging our Dear Mother would she not rather have us serving and spreading Jesus great love for all souls.

We have “glorifed buildings”, “billions” of books with foolish this and that, but how many souls are we bring to Christ?? How much have you Loved me?

God Bless

Fallen nature. the Holy Spirit blows upon whom it wills— The next door neigbour who makes soup and brings to those shut in–

The little boy across the street shovels his neighbours drive way.
The man who runs in and saves a family from their burning home.
The one who leans to those in need and never is know for doing so!
Little Teresa who was not in a hurry to go to heaven because she wanted to stay on earth and suffer more to save more souls for God! etc etc.

Rather more important knowing I have a fallen human nature and ask, seek, knock for God’s help to become Holy and serve.

God Bless

The Scriptures clearly tell us that Mary a human being was a sinner. The Scriptures do not tell us that Mary was sinless.

.
What about Blessed are you among women and Blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. What about Mary You have found Favor with God. What about how she never questioned God.

What about Blessed are you among women and Blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. What about Mary You have found Favor with God. What about how she never questioned God.
How do we know if she never questioned God after Jesus died on the cross we do not know her personal conversations or what her thoughts were do we?

Our Blessed Mother did not know what was happening, she was fearful and the angel told her not to fear.

Mary is known to me as Blessed among all woman the mother of God I do not know what you are asking or saying. Yes! God chose our Blessed Mother Yes the angel told Mary " You have found Favor with God!

What I am saying that people who live in sin and do not even think of Jesus or believe, go even go to Church, we have heard testimoney that in their darkest night, suffering, drugs, alcohol, going to comment suicide. God touch them or changed them and they did a 99 degree turn and gave their life to God. This is what I mean the Holy Spirit blows upon whom it wills. God even tells us that I choose whom I will. The rain falls on the good and bad etc.

God Bless

I do not know the answer to this topic, I just feel why are we asking it? if we discuss it or ponder on this our thoughts, I just do not like myself is what I am saying to have such thoughts.

I only know that King David, Moses, Jacob etc whom God chose had a fallen human nature, King David will always have someone to sit on the throne.

If Moses was not allowed to see the promise land because of his falling nature and was the “greatest prophet” ever and "God spoke directly to Moses -------will I also not be punished?

God Bless

And certainly Christ could do better than Protestantism. Wouldn’t you think? Would he really give us a book and say, “Have at it, whatever interpretation is as good as the next.”? I should think not.

“I am obligated both to Greeks and non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish.” -Romans 1:14

Consider yourself either of those categories, but we here are merely explaining out of obligation. Truth outs itself to those who search for it.
We have “glorifed buildings”, “billions” of books with foolish this and that, but how many souls are we bring to Christ?? How much have you Loved me?
Do you want us to agree with you? That wouldn’t be love.

“Love does not harm its neighbor.” -Romans 13:10a

And it would be harmful to tell you falsities so that you might be ‘happy?’

So let’s discuss the topic on hand.

Blessed = sinless ???

.

Mary was granted this singular privilege because she was chosen by God to conceive and bear His Only-begotten Son.

Death did not pass upon Enoch and Elijah, although they were just as implicated in the fatal consequence of original sin as the rest of us. Not “all” have necessarily died or sinned. Mary was implicated in the sin of Adam, along with the human race, so God intervened with her immaculate conception on account of her Divine maternity. No intervention was needed on our Lord’s behalf, for the Son of Man was not implicated in original sin. Mary was excepted because it would be unfitting for our Lord to be conceived and borne by an impure mother.

Pax vobiscum
Good Fella
Your response proves the fact that Gods revealed Truth in His written word is the key to showing that Mary wasn’t sinless. I mean how did you know that Enoch & Elijah didn’t die even though they were sinners, well God tells you so in His written word. Also how do we know that the Lord Jesus was sinless, well God tells us so in His written word.

However God doesn’t tell us in His written word that Mary was sinless but He clearly tells us that Mary is part of sinful humanity.

I agree I agree and you are right and it is not a sin to search for the truth we are all human. I do not want anyone to agree with me. Nor would it be love or truth to go along for the sake to go along St. Francis of Assi I am sure was looked at also strangely an judged harsly by others for the sake of not going along also.

I agree with you, Jesus did not just give us a book. We do have authority over us, but not everyone agrees with everything, there fore we trust in God to guide us also! God Bless

I didn’t ask if you thought the Bible was the word of God. I also did not ask if we are the Church.
You believe that the Bible could exist without the Church. Well… Has the Church ever existed with out the Bible?
Yes, the Church existed with out the “todays Bible”.

Proof of this, we would not have the “words of Jesus” except orally. The church existed with out the bible in the days of Abraham, Moses, Jesus! St. Peter time they wrote letters to each other for preach and teaching.

… "the whole world has gone after him"
Did all the world go after Christ?

** "then went all Judea, and were baptized of him in Jordan.**
**"Was all Judea, or all Jerusalem, baptized in Jordan? **

"Ye are of God,little children", and the whole world lieth in the wicked one".
Doesthe whole world there mean everybody?

The words “world” and “all” are used in some seven or eight senses in Scripture, and it is very rarely the “all” means all persons, taken individually. The words are generally used to signify that Christ has redeemed some of all sorts-- some Jews, some Gentiles, some rich, some poor, and has notrestricted His redemption to either Jew or Gentile …

Thank you Dr. Strong

The Church explains various doctrines, which we must believe.

In this regard if you do not believe the Catholic Churches “interpretation” of that doctrine then you are not currently fully aligned with Catholic teaching.

With rare exception, I do not see where the Catholic Church provides any specific interpretation for any particular bible verse.

It usually provides supporting arguments for doctrines quoting various bible verses and other historical documents.

Some of those verses explicitly deal with the subject at hand. Others offer implied support. In some cases, the bible may be silent on the subject.

In any case, the Church does not derive new doctrine from scripture.

I am not even sure what “Devine [scriptural] Interpretation” is supposed to mean in the context of the Doctrines that the Church puts forth for belief.

Chuck
I’m not sure what you are getting at. All I said is that it doesn’t matter what a Catholic might interpret from Scripture. The only thing that matters is the doctrine the Church puts forth. What an individual interprets from the Bible has affirmative meaning to a Chatholic, as long as the interpretation is in support of Church doctrine. If a person interprets something opposite of Church docrine, the person is likely in deep trouble by seperating himself from the Church.

The fact that Catholics must believe infallable teachings put forth by the Church is a very basic Catholic teaching. If one refuses to believe an infallible teaching of the Church, that person cannot be saved, regardless of the topic. That’s my understanding anyway. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

My common sense tends to agree with many of the things you have said. But, if the Church found it important enough to define this topic infallibly, it must be important, right? The Church, when teaching infallibly cannot be wrong. We are absolutely bound to believe all infallible teaching.

What about Blessed are you among women and Blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. What about Mary You have found Favor with God. What about how she never questioned God.
There are many through history that have found favor with God and have not been sinless. St. Peter is the first that comes to mind.

Now EmeraldIsle, will you please interact with this and stop avoiding it.

Dr Strong and his group created Strong’s numbers and the very first Greek Concordance. And they were Protestants.
This is exactly why our personal interpretations mean absolutely nothing. We must look at what the Church teaches on the subject. Nothing else matters. End of story.

This is exactly why our personal interpretations mean absolutely nothing. We must look at what the Church teaches on the subject. Nothing else matters. End of story.
So why is that a problem? The Church puts more thought and care into the explication of her teachings and her interpretations of Scripture than any individual possibly can on his own. Often definitions are postponed for centuries while ripening. The Church has the promise of indefectibility from Our Lord. The Church never makes rash interpretations, and allows liberty in all things save those that can hurt people.

So why is it a problem that there are a handful of Scripture verse that Catholics must interpret in a specific way?

Is your faith based upon what Dr Strong says?

God has revealed to us in His written word that Adam & Eve were created sinless and then they sinned and so became sinners, see Gen 1-3. God has revealed in His written word that sin has been passed down to all humans from Adam, see Rom 5:12. God has revealed in His written word that the Lord Jesus was sinless, see 1Peter 2:21-22.

Now God hasn’t revealed in His written word that Mary was sinless but the Catholic Church tradition teaching says that she was sinless.

The Catholic Churches tradition teaches that Mary was sinless(not in the Bible), which leads to the teaching that Mary was IC(not in the Bible), which leads to the teaching that Mary was given a special grace to remain sinless(not in the Bible), which leads to the teaching that Mary didn’t die(not in the Bible)
