I wanted to start a thread for all those who are having difficulties in their marriages, (or those who are not who would like to pray for those of us who are) so we could all support each other with prayer and encouragement when things are really tough.
Maybe we could pray novena’s together as they are more efficacious when theres’s a few of us petitioning God…I know there are a few people on here struggling and we all need all the prayer we can get.
What do you think?

Jules you know that I am definitely interested in praying for anyone in a difficult marriage. Our prayer in numbers can strengthen our spirit and our hearts together. This is a great idea and am so glad that I have the site and people to talk to.
God Bless.

I’m in…whats the Plan? 🙂 What are we praying together and when? 🙂

Ok I am in too.:grouphug: thank you—I hope the Lord hears us and answers our needs.

Ok, so what if we start a novena for difficult marriages… those on here. I have some novenas, we could ask St. Jude to intercede or St. Monica?
If anyone has one in particular that they like or find very efficacious, then feel free to post it.
Will give everyone time to respond and start it in a couple of days. I know we are almost a day in front of you, so we’ll start on a particular date.

Holy Family Novena:

I feel I should diclose that I prayed this novena before my own divorce. I asked for healing to come to my marriage. God’s healing certainly found me, but not in the way I expected. :doh2:

But what better family to try to emulate!

Hey, y’all
Code:
I've never really prayed a novena. Do you just read the words on the screen and that's it? If so, that's what I just did. Nice prayers BTW. I also saved the prayer to disk so I can look at it later. I also know you pray this for nine days, right? Anything else I need to do? Sorry to be so ill-informed.

I’m all in favour of the Holy Family novena. Just tell us when to start Jules.

I was about to ask the same question! 😊 I didn’t even know what a novena was. 🤷 I think I would like to do this. Will it help my marraige? It needs all the help it can get! ❤️

I’m in, when do we start? I just finished the 3 Hail Mary Novena for my marriage, but we need more. I’m printing off the Holy Family Novena as I type.

Ok, sorry if I’ve taken my time with this… We can always do other novenas at other times… thought we could start with St. Rita… She’s the patroness of impossible cases and I know some of you feel that things are impossible. That ok? How about we start on Thursday 13th September.
This Novena must be said for nine consecutive days.

Novena to Saint Rita,

O holy patroness of those in need, St. Rita, whose pleadings before thy Divine Lord are almost irresistible, who for thy lavishness in granting favours hast been called the Advocate of the hopeless and even of the impossible; St. Rita, so humble, so pure, so mortified, so patient and of such compassionate love for thy Crucified Jesus that thou couldst obtain from Him whatsoever thou askest, on account of which all confidently have recourse to thee expecting, if not always relief, at least comfort; be propitious to our petition, showing thy power with God on behalf of thy suppliant; be lavish to us, as thou hast been in so many wonderful cases, for the greater glory of God, for the spreading of thine own devotion, and for the consolation of those who trust in thee.
We promise, if our petition is granted, to glorify thee
by making known thy favour, to bless and sing thy
praises forever. Relying then upon thy merits and
power before the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we pray
thee grant that…

That God may heal and bless all the marriages of these CAF members and that our wills may be perfectly in line with God’s will in our lives and in the life of our spouse

(anyone can add more if they wish)

as soon as God deems fit. Amen.
