Hi everyone,
I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Ordination of Roger Pasionek as a Permanent Deacon for the Diocese of Saginaw, MI.
The ordination took place at Holy Family in Saginaw, where the Deacon will be assigned.
It was a beautiful service, although they took the incense into the small chapel, and the smoke detectors had something to say about it
Anyway, despite a minute or so of blaring fire alarms (thankfully, the parish music director was quick on the draw 
and got the alarm silenced and cancelled the fire department) we all had a great time.
Bishop Carlson did a great job, and the Mass was concelebrated by several priests and deacons from around the Diocese. It was a very nice service.
