That high total was not because of a failure of leadership. It was bad luck for having to go first, having large amounts of international travel from Europe, and a dense population. The remarkable thing is, New York recovered marvelously, and is now the model of how to do it right.This is amazing. His state ranks 4th in population, approximately 20th in retirement population as a percent of total, but #1 by far in COVID deaths…accounting for 20% of the US deaths.
