Kamala said “I know a predator when I see one”?!?!
Bill Clinton? Joe Biden? Weinstein the big-time Democrat? Jeffrey Epstein who ferried Clinton around?
🤣

“Why is she angry about this particular incident? That’s inappropriate. Her reaction should be far different, for instance …”
Thanks for explaining that. You seem to be saying that the characterization was too global and that the comment implied that she was disproportionately angry.

I think Biden delivered the goods in his speech. He was never better, and certainly put to rest the notion that he can no longer string together coherent sentences, a notion which I myself believed. Let’s see if Trump can be as good.

However good Biden was, though–and he was surprisingly effective–I believe the best speech of the Democratic Convention was Obama’s. It was dark and inspirational at the same time. He has certainly not lost his touch as an orator.

The least memorable, in my view, was that of Hillary Clinton. It was quite disappointing.

Apart from the speeches, the Convention as a whole was very well put together, including the musical performers and the focus on specific issues as well as emotional appeal. We now await the Republican Convention.

His actual words were, referring to Pres. Trump’s previous statement that Covid-19 will just go away like a miracle, “Well. I have news for him, no miracle is coming.” That’s certainly not the same as saying there’s no such thing as miracles, but I understand how Biden’s choice of words might be upsetting to some people of faith. I would have preferred it if he’d said something like, “We can’t presume there’ll be a miracle. We have to do everything we can to minimize the spread and the effects of the virus now!”

But overall I liked the content of Biden’s speech, and his delivery did not disappoint me.

That is a mesmerizing idea – we are one country! Too bad he undermined it with the bitter clingers comment. 😂
Good thing the media is in bed with the democrats so they could help Obama catapult him to his political success in no time flat.
In retrospect though, wouldn’t it have been better to let Biden have his “turn”, then Obama have his turn? The media planned that out poorly…
Now they have to promote Biden the dotard.
Yes, maybe they should have let Hillary have one term, then Joe, and then Obama.

He was able to string together sentences because he read from a teleprompter.

Let’s let him sit down and be interviewed by someone
other than Cardio B and answer some hardball questions.

I didn’t watch any of it. Did they mention the months of rioting and looting and what their plan will be combat it if elected? Did they have any touching tributes to the brave police officers or ex police officers (David Dorn killed for example) who have been shot, killed or injured, including being blinded by lasers? Were there any emotional speeches by small business owners of all races, including recent immigrants, who had their businesses looted and buildings destroyed?

During this week’s Democratic National Convention, which was supposed to launch Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s ticket into the fall election with good feelings and high poll numbers, President Trump’s approval rating surged.

The Rasmussen Reports daily average for Trump, which is spread over three days, hit 51% this week — and has stayed there.

On the first day of the Democratic National Convention, Trump’s approval rating was 47%.

Probably within the margin of error of the poll.

Quite a “surge”

Not speaking about Mrs. Obama, but I’ve seen the “Black Angry Woman” stereotype applied more generally as an “Angry Woman” stereotype in fairly recent years. Especially among women in management.

There is a problem in that a woman taking a stern position or expressing opposition to a position may be cast as being one of those angry people. While a man can at times engage in the use of insults and strong language while not facing similar categorization. It can result in a situation where men and women are “playing the game by different rules.” For a woman, increased effort may be needed to come across as displeased with something for contextually appropriate reasons.

Yes and KH said Joe would get rid of the COVID virus,if not a miracle he must have a magic wand🙄

Fun Fact — Democrats’ did not mention the word “Impeachment“ during their entire Convention… NOT EVEN ONCE.

==========
Hold them accountable 😉
