Do Catholics ignore these scriptures?

👍 This further shows his misunderstanding of the Scriptures. He has a problem with Catholic women cutting their hair but not with Protestant women cutting their hair.

This commment I don't understand.  You should be shouting it off the mountain tops and have a bright light on it.  Why a secret.  If a Catholic is in the wrong Church you should be announcing your true Church for all to be saved.

I have never said that we are the true church. I have said we attempt to follow the Bible. Once again, I will not give out personal information and I am very distrustful of people who request it.
So if the True church is all who is saved are you saying Catholics are not saved but you won’t reveal your church so they can be brought to the truth?

I have said time and time again that some Catholics are saved. The Bible is the truth. The Bible says that all who are saved are part of his church. That church, not a building somewhere, is the pillar of truth. Not anyone building of people is going to give all the truth.
I have been to a Catholic church where the priest was a universalist and said he was in favor of women priests in his homily. Was that church the pillar of truth? No. That is why one must look at the whole Bible to understand individual passages.

According to the Bible it took the Apostles sometime to really know what Christ was teaching them.  Then at the Crucifiction it was apprent some still were not ready nor understood.

But in Acts, Peter preached and people were added to the church THAT VERY DAY.

That is not true. Lots of women do not cut their hair short besides the Amish.
They follow the Bible. Its a good thing!

It is not a huge deal. It was not a topic I had seen discussed before but yes, on other forums, I do bring it up.

You did not say “cut their hair short”. You said “cut their hair”. Amish women do not cut their hair at all, which would make them the only Christian women following what you really said.

Amish women do cut their hair. I should know, I bought a cinammon roll from them this morning! It is up in the bun but I assure you, it has been cut!

Okay, so in your view, are they breaking God’s law? Or are they free to cut their hair, in spite of St. Paul’s personal opinion that “obviously, nature shows” that women should not cut their hair? 🤷

(Also, where is the “glory of her hair” if she ties it up in a bun? What is the essential difference between wearing it short, and tying it up in a bun?)

God’s law? My oh my. I am talking about following the Bible, not throwing people on their buns out of heaven. It is what we should do. Scripture is full of things we should do and we try to do them all. That is a good thing!
The details are not spelled out in scripture. As long as a godly woman is trying to do what the Bible teaches, she is doing well.
Do not get me started on the law. WHOLE new topic.
