Do Catholics really want to be aligned with MAGA?

Also, when an official makes a determined effort to keep pledges but fails, I don’t think that reflects on their integrity though the media portrays it that way.
I totally agree on that. I do not like to see this current attack on Trump over the wall. He is not Congress after all. He is the President.

But the majority of Americans oppose expansion of the current wall. Should we all simply give deference to the POTUS’ plans even if they aren’t supported by the majority?

No, I was not referring to that. What I meant was I do not look at this as a lie, or a promise broken. When he was running for president, he may well have not known how the budget process works and that the president doesn’t get to write the budget.

Did he also not understand that he couldn’t require a foreign power to pay for it?

Got a source for that?
What i’ve seen is they support an expansion/enhancement of the wall, BUT don’t support a wall across the whole border.

The devil is in the detail of how the question is asked.

@gracepoole
You confirm what I said before, that it all depends on how you ask the question.

Your linked agreed with my statement that people don’t want a significant increased in the length of the wall. It doesn’t say they oppose replacing substandard existing wall and extending it. I also oppose a dramatic increase in the wall, because it’s beyond what the experts think will help.

I’d luv to see a survey done with integrity, rather than with future biased headlines in mind.

Something like: "Do you support replacing or increasing the length of the border wall in places where Border Patrol thinks it is necessary?"

That you see a distinction here is baffling.

LOL, that you don’t see a distinction is what’s bafflin

I used to work in Marketing, I understand how the wording of your survey can dramatically influence your results.

C’mon. That’s a distinction without a meaningful difference if ever there were one.
