God is so gracious He might save a person in spite of their wrong beliefs about God but never because of them.
He might though I think since He told us He is the Way, the Truth and the Life, it is a good idea to be witnesses of Jesus for the sake of others salvation.
God will save those whom He will have mercy on. The good Jew, the good Muslim, or the good Hindu. It’s living a Christlike life is what He sees that will save someone right into heaven.
So are we saved by being good? Are we saved by Christ or by being Christlike?

His mercy endures forever. we are’nt saved by our good deeds, nor condemned by our errors. We are saved by His Mercy.

We are saved by sanctifying grace, but will be judged on our deeds.

Salvation is a free gift of God’s grace but for salvation to be realized or to be gained we must co-operate with that grace with our good works.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”—Eph 2:8-10

Acts of faith hope and charity are deeds, as is prayer.

Some things to be doing constantly all day long!

Isn’t life with faith beautiful?

Revelations referred to the modern Jews as the synagogue of Satan.
Making a link from the “synagogue of Satan” reference in Revelation to mean modern Jews would seem, to me, to be a leap.

The references in Revelation (2:9 and 3:9) specifically state that the synagogue of satan are those who say they are Jews, but are not. This would seem to me to represent Jews who claim to be Jews, but do not behave accordingly, it also seems to be linked to the persecution of the early Christians by a certain section (not all) of the Jews.

Might it not be the case that being saved by belief in Christ MEANS being Christlike, which is the ultimate goodness of FAITH IN ACTION, as Christ Himself said? That is, as Christ stated, what we do toward the LEAST of us, we do toward Him.

So, yes I would agree that having a belief in Christ should cause us to be Christlike, which would be faith and merit or faith and action.

Scripture tells us our works alone do not save us and Scripture tells us faith alone does not save us but “faith working through love”. Galatians 5:6
That is, as Christ stated, what we do toward the LEAST of us, we do toward Him.
Yes, Matthew 25, the parable of the sheep and the goats.
“Amen I say to you, as long as you did it to one of these my least brethren, you did it to me.”…

“His lord said to him:’ Well done, good and faithful servant: because thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”

I’m not smart enough to play the semantic game with this topic. I’ll just post this article that I agree with.
