Lol to that replyMichelle Arnold has answered this question here:

Yet we do know through the evidence of faith that guardian angels exist and how many can dance on the eye of a needle. Hasn’t a answer been “divinely” revealed yet? This is something we just don’t know this side of eternity.
Lol again…All we know for certain is that…
You’re mixing up eye of the needle (it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. Matthew 19:24) and the head of a pin. The eye of the needle is the hole that the thread goes through.Yet we do know through the evidence of faith that guardian angels exist and how many can dance on the eye of a needle.
Millions of non-catholics have died before me and millions of non-catholics will die after me… And if we must have accepted christ before we died I guess we are all destined for hell…You’re mixing up eye of the needle (it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. Of course you know the other part of that exchange:
When the disciples heard this they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?”
But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:25
We believe that with God all things are possible. Even that atheists who come on Catholic message boards to mock the Catholic faith can see the light, renounce their benighted ways, and accept the One True Faith.
Have you attempted to make a study of Christian Gospels first, or did you just come on to kill a thread and display your ignorance?Yet we do know through the evidence of faith that guardian angels exist and how many can dance on the eye of a needle. Hasn’t a answer been “divinely” revealed yet?

to contribute anything to the discussion.I always thought the one true faith was Islam?
Why not learn something about Catholicism before you try to mock it? These posts are laughable to knowledgeable Catholics - you’re not ridiculing our faith, you’re displaying your own ignorance.Millions of non-catholics have died before me and millions of non-catholics will die after me… And if we must have accepted christ before we died I guess we are all destined for hell…

Matthew 18:10Does the Bible reference guardian angels? How do we know that they exist?
Then why aren’t you a Muslim?I always thought the one true faith was Islam?
We do not know for sure, but I think that an Angel stays with you for all eternity, unless you end up in eternal damnation. It’s not like there would be a shortage of Angels for the job…Just wondering.
Thanks.
Angels are referenced by the Bible, and angels of specific people, yet I would not lightly allow the Church to decree a universal law.Matthew 18:10
See that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I tell you that in heaven their angels always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.
Acts of the Apostles 12:14-15
Recognizing Peter’s voice, in her joy she did not open the gate but ran in and told that Peter was standing at the gate. They said to her, “You are mad.” But she insisted that it was so. They said, “It is his angel!”
Psalm 34:7
The angel of the Lord encamps
around those who fear him, and delivers them.
Psalm 91:10-13
no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.
For he will give his angels charge of you
to guard you in all your ways.
On their hands they will bear you up,
lest you dash your foot against a stone.
You will tread on the lion and the adder,
and the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
And finally, the Church infallibly teaches in the Catechism of the Catholic Church 336:
From its beginning until death human life is surrounded by their (angels) watchful care and intercession. Beside each believer stands an angel as protector and shepherd leading him to life. Already here on earth the Christian life shares by faith in the blessed company of angels and men united in God.
I don’t think the Church is waiting for you to allow it to do anything.Angels are referenced by the Bible, and angels of specific people, yet I would not lightly allow the Church to decree a universal law.
The Bible talks about angles? I missed that part somehow.Of course I know the biblical references to angles.
Reality is objective. By decreeing that guardian angels exist, they do not come into existence.I don’t think the Church is waiting for you to allow it to do anything.
Your “issues” aside, Matthew 18:10 is quoted in the Catechism.Reality is objective. By decreeing that guardian angels exist, they do not come into existence.
My issue is: How does the Church know that they exist?
Ah, my apologies. I missed Matthew 18:10.Your “issues” aside, Matthew 18:10 is quoted in the Catechism.
