I strongly condemn all rape, torture and atrocities by all Christians and all Americans. It is Wrong! I use my right to vote communications with my elected officials to voice my condemnation of these things. I repeat it here for all to see. what I ask in return is the same form muslims. I am tired of individual Imams issuing fatwas that declare people “deserving” of rape and murder. where is the muslim outrage over these things? What I have seen instead is the Koranic justifications for these things. I have a Koran and have read it repeatedly over the years and asked muslims that I have known to explain things that I did not understand. As a result I do NOT see it as requiring peace or mercy but only recommending it while outlining all of the circumstances in which it’s “justified” to kill and enslave others. There is no central Islamic either to proclaim the “official” doctrine of Islam either. despite the Koran and the Hadith each Imam preaches his own interpretation and issues whatever fatwas he wants . Sharia seems different in how it is applied not only between one country and another but between individual communities even. The one common thread seem to be jihad. whatever is considered the “Umma” has rights that must be enforced by any means necessary and everything else is infidel that is unworthy of anything.

When will I see muslims proclaim that honor killings, rapes, dhimitude and slavery are ALWAYS wrong?

ahmadhassan…i do have a question that maybe you can answer…

I hardly hear any outcry from muslims about the violence. Not sure if that is the media not reporting the outcry or if muslims silently agree with the violence or if most muslims are simply afraid to talk against it.
A lot of Muslims are torn on the issue of violent jihad and terrorism, just like many Americans are torn on the invasion on Iraq. When a certain method of getting back at your enemy is already being done by someone else, and is having an effect of at least scaring your enemy, then that method may seem justified because of the results.

its the media ,you can check islamic sites to see that we condemn killing of innocents ,i thing you should start with islamtomorrow.com
I spent about 15 minutes looking on that site, but could not find the condemnation of killing.

Something you need to think about.

In the USA the press digs up all the dirt it can and goes out of the way to report on mainly the negative about the USA. Do you have the same critical outlook about your government there?

Doesn’t that make you think that you are hearing only biased information?

those who attack muslims land and kill muslims must be killed
Must all those who convert from Islam to another religion be killed as well? Just wondering as many who do so are afraid for their lives, and I remember a few years ago there was a case where a governmnet official in Afghanistan converted to Christianity, and was sentenced to death for it (although I don’t remember what the end result was for him - I’ll have to look it up). Are people like this government official innocent or guilty?

MUSLIMS SHOULD CONDEMN MUSLIM VIOLENCE
(From The Catholic League)

According to today’s New York Sun, Harvard professor Jessica Stern told a New York audience yesterday that criticism of Muslim clerics for not condemning Muslim violence was unwarranted. “I’ve heard a lot of bashing of Muslim clerics for not stepping up to the plate and condemning extremist violence,” she said. “But Catholic priests are not stepping up to condemn those who kill abortion doctors…[and] rabbis are not condemning the violent settlers’ movement.”

Catholic League president Bill Donohue responded as follows:

“Forced moral equivalency is immoral, and that is exactly what Jessica Stern is promoting. The silence of Muslim clerics in the face of Muslim violence is well-known. But when it comes to killing abortionists, the Catholic clergy have an impeccable record. It should be noted, too, that as the *New York Sun *pointed out today, rabbis everywhere condemned Yigal Amir’s 1995 assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin—the very incident that Stern cited as an example of Jewish silence.

“To begin with, there has not been a single abortionist killed in the U.S. since 1998. When there were killings in the mid-1990s, Cardinal Roger Mahony of Los Angeles, chairman of the Pro-Life Activities of the bishops’ conference, said that such shootings make ‘a mockery of everything we stand for.’ When there were two killings at Massachusetts abortion clinics, Cardinal Bernard Law not only denounced them, he ordered a moratorium on sidewalk protest vigils outside abortion clinics in Boston. Cardinal John O’Connor’s response in New York was profound: ‘If anyone has an urge to kill an abortionist, kill me instead.’
“Just this week, a report of Muslim violence against Iraqi Christians was released. The study, Incipient Genocide, describes in detail ‘the deaths of Christian children—including babies—laypeople, priests and nuns who were burned, beaten or blown up in car bombs throughout the past few years.’ Moreover, Christian girls are being raped and having nitric acid thrown in their faces for not wearing veils. And the Muslim silence is deafening.”

those who attack muslims land and kill muslims must be killed
Matthew 5:44
"But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

Luke 6:35 "But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men.

Did Jesus say these things, or are these corrupted text of the books that came before?

Oh, and is there any land that is not Muslim land?

Matthew 10:34 "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.

Matthew 10:34 "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
Did He say to use that sword to kill them, or was it a reference to the division faith in Christ would have among family members when one would believe, and anotehr would not?

Matthew 10:34 "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
And now the verse in context:
32 Everyone who acknowledges me before others I will acknowledge before my heavenly Father.
33 But whoever denies me before others, I will deny before my heavenly Father.
34 "Do not think that I have come to bring peace upon the earth. I have come to bring not peace but the sword.
35 For I have come to set a man ‘against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
36 and one’s enemies will be those of his household.’
37 "Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me;
38 and whoever does not take up his cross and follow after me is not worthy of me.
Notice how a verse sounds so much different when it is placed in context.

Note that Jesus did not say he brings war or bloodshed. But a sword because he will cause division among families.

if you wanted to find it you will find it but it seems you dont
You gave us a site to look at saying that this is a site that shows how muslims condemn the killing of innocents. If it does that, it is hidden well.

Please post the url where I can go directly to the condemnation of killing the innocents.

When you compare how when an injustice that the USA does, it is rightly plastered all over the news. This is the best you have to compare the condemning of injustices?

Even with your bias, you have to see the differences in reporting bad deeds. I never found 1 condemnation that named a name of an individual who is leading the suicice attacks.

a weapon (as a cutlass or rapier) with a long blade for cutting or thrusting that is often used as a symbol of** honor or authority**.

Rather than insult, why not address the comment.
