Christians also believe in Satan, but they never do whatever Satan commands.

The reference you have cited is from the Mosaic Law, which was given by the same God to Israel alone. Since Christians know that God gave the Law to a certain nation and some precepts of that Law were for a certain period of time (temporary), they do not practice it.

Christians would never use the word “abrogation” while talking about Jesus’ approach to the Mosaic Law. The term abrogation is peculiar to Islam, the god of which cannot easily decide which rule to impose on the same group of believers living in the same era.

The priesthood in Judaism and the priesthood in Christianity are not identical. More, you seem to forget that Catholic priests are not allowed to marry and cannot have daughters to burn with fire.

What do you mean? Every Jew is automatically and essentially a high priest? Where did you get this ridiculous teaching from?

Although I am not in the mood to counter silly questions with silly answers right now, I shall do my best. The rule in Leviticus concerns only female children of a priest, not male ones. Thus, a priest could be allowed to marry and have sons without necessarily validating the commandment in the Mosaic Law.

Back to serious speech, you sound very confused about the notion of enforced celibacy. I suggest you do a comparative research on the major differences between the priesthood in Judaism and the priesthood in Christianity.

I am not sure where I learned this piece of information but my understanding of prostitutes in ancient times is not always the same as what we think of as prostitutes today. Prostitutes were often priestesses of fertility godesses and worked in temples as prostitutes to honor these goddesses and to bring about the fertility of crops.
