Do Muslims pray to the same God as Catholics or not?

God called on Mohammed to evangelize in His name. In vanity Mohammed created a new religion to worship the God of Abraham, rather than draw people towards Christ’s holy church.

This same vanity led to the formation of all religious groups; they take the natural human instinct to worship their creator, and direct it in inappropriate directions.

That Muslims and others worship the same God we do in no way implies that their understanding of Him is correct. God is not restricted from providing grace to anyone who approaches him sincerely.
