You should have been JPII’s advisor. Its a shame you could not.

I am unsubscribing due to your insults and violation of forum rules.
oh yes, and i can see by your comments your an upstanding citizen yourself
Firstly, dont start insulting people because Islam doesnt have the credibility to supply answers to simple questions. Your attempt to take away the attention of the topic is tiresome, we have heard all of this before. Bottom line is, in Islam, if you cant find the answer, make all attempt to either change the subject or start the insults. It does get boring.
Secondly, i would like to see ANY Muslim to pay any respect to Catholicism by kissing the bible. Because that is what the pope did, just paid his respect, by kissing the quran, it does not mean he believes in it. And besides, if he didnt kiss it, what are the chances of him ending up with a fatwa against him, pretty high i would imagine.

dolphinlove;4223189:
I am an upstanding citizen. I have never been accused of a crime, nor have I done anything to be accused of a crime against the laws of the USA, or local, or state ordinances or laws.
Do you have any information about me that is contrary to my law biding life?
roll eyes
Your words, and i quote:
My preliminary theory:
They target Jews and Catholics for “guilt” meter stuff.
They realize the Jews and Catholics would rather pay a dollar more to have less guilt.
forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?p=4223047#post4223047
This isnt insulting? You seem to tarnish Catholics and Jews with the same brush, makes me wonder what religion you do want to follow, if you not already follow it…
I can’t “start” insulting people when I have not insulted anyone.
Previous point makes this null…
Give me some answers then, since catholics claim they can do this. I have put out plenty for you to consider and answer, yet I see no reply.
You show me the questions that have not been answered and i will do my best to answer them for you. You see, when i do go to answer a question, someone always answers it before me, hence why i have not seen any unanswered questions.
Why is it tiresome? Breaks up your routine a bit?
No, it doesnt break up the routine, i just want some Muslim to actually give an answer to the questions, that will break up the routine. 🙂
Then, if this is true, why don’t you just answer it all before now?
Hearing and not replying is not saying much at all.
As i said, point them out to me.
I can see how boring it is, that you and another poster cant answer me, and change the subject too.
We are answering you, your the one that doesnt seem to understand or just continue to ignore the replies.
.
And I would like to win the lottery. Your point?
I stated he kissed it, you are making up excuses here not me. Did he tell you this? I don’t believe he “believes in it” if I understand your idea of belief. But, let the man speak for himself please.
You brought up the pope, i choose to defend JP2, your the one that posted about him kissing the quran, i will stick up for him with what i think why he did.
But, ifs and buts, are not reality are they?
I dont know. Did Benedict do the same when he met with muslim clerics? I dont recall him doing so, but I was not a christian in mind then.
They are 2 different people, so therefore, they do things entirely different.

I do not think Muslims “worship” this stone. That sounds like something from the fevered imagination of Jack Chick. However, it is clear that they venerate it in much the same manner as Catholic venerate relics of the True Cross or similar things.
I have to agree with you. However, Muslims accuse Catholics of stone worshiping when they themselves submit to the mercy of the rock. The pot literally calling the kettle black. 😛

This is what Muslims always do! You are getting to know them.

You had been away for a while, welcome back.

nah cant agree with you on this one, you should have said ‘the pot literally calling the rock black’ 😛

I live in SEA amongst Muslims in the backyard. 😃 I knew of their rituals, customs and religious beliefs since the day i started primary school. Thanks for the welcome back. 🙂

I have been in alot of pain lately and needed alot more rest. Doctors 😛

Either way, both are black. 😃 I dunno about you, but something about the shape of the rock reminds me of something else feminine, but i chose to use “pot” instead. You know, to make the U.N happy. 😊

Those who worship towards Kaabahs shoudn’t thrown stones.

Oooops. I forgot, that’s part of the ritual.

Oh yeah, something about hitting Satan with pebbles? Good luck with that one!

hahahaha that olympic argument is another weak attempt by ignorant muslims to hide the pagan roots of islam. The olympics couldnt have more pagan origins but its not a religion.

I know hey, i wonder what the injury impact is on this??
Does anyone know?
I imagine quite a few injuries would happen with this!!!

Its amazing, Catholics hold massive events, and noone gets injured, i wonder which one is Gods true religion… 😉

From time to time a great deal of pilgrims die because of that ritual (they smash one another in a hurry). Maybe one day a Muslim scholar will urge them to stop stoning the devil because of the casualties. Then Muslims will drag that scholar to Mecca and stone him instead of the devil 😃

Sublimis Deus, and Romanus Pontifex Go to the Holy See for a view.
I think you meant the Papal Bulls Sublimus Dei (May 2, 1537) and the Romanus Pontifex (January 8, 1455).

Romanus Pontifex was written in January 8, 1455 by Pope Nicholas V to King Afonso V of Portugal. As a follow-up to the Dum Diversas (June 18, 1452), it extended to the Catholic nations of Europe dominion over discovered lands during the Age of Discovery. Along with sanctifying the seizure of non-Christian lands, it encouraged the enslavement of native, non-Christian peoples in Africa and the New World.

However, Paul III in Sublimus Dei unequivocally declares the indigenous peoples of the Americas to be rational beings with souls, denouncing any idea to the contrary as directly inspired by the “enemy of the human race”. He goes on to condemn their reduction to slavery in the strongest terms, declaring it null and void for as well as for any people known or that could be discovered in the future, entitles their right to liberty and property, and concludes with a call for their evangelization.

The bull had a strong impact on the Valladolid debate, and its principles eventually became the official position of Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor and King of Spain, although it was often ignored by the colonists and conquistadores themselves.

Hello,

I seriously don’t understand why this thread is still going on unless you people want to cause havoc in the forum and criticize. The question was answered by Muslims in all sincerity and because you choose not to believe that they don’t worship the stone, you continue to bash. Typical so typical! This topic should be closed because you people are not sincere in your remarks.

The Muslims have stated that they don’t worship it, they revere it, they do not pray to it nor do they use it as an idol of worship. What more needs to be said to ignorant people who can’t seem to understand??? Is useless to bash Islam in this way.

Oh, that would mean that scholar would be thinking outside of the typical Islamic thinking… dont this this is possible… 😉

Sorry to post such things 😊, but you have to know the pre-Islamic history on why this stone became black:

In the book of “the legendary in quran” , page 16,17 it said:{ that nudeness was for a reason, as there were sexual worshiping rituals taking place inside that Makkahin godly house in the ancient epochs }
In the book of" the father of prophets Ibrahim", by Muhammad hosny abdul-hammid, published in Cairo, page 92, he said:{ there was a pagan ritual performed by women, as they were touching the black stone by their menstrual blood, as the menstrual blood for the ancient pagan was the secret of birth, as they believed that, woman gives the blood and man gives the semen and the spirit is given by god They were assimilating the first act done by the moon god (Alh) when he slept with the sun god (Alat) So they were celebrating that occasion as the gods (the moon and the sun) did before, they were doing the same thing again (See also" the legendary and the heritage" by Sayed Al-Kemny, page 160,162.

Oh, how did I forget about the fornacating stones? I seem to remember somewhere about some rock formation in the sacred precincts that were supposed to be some couple turned to stone for fornicating.
