Do protestants have their sins forgiven?

I don’t know how to respond per se to that. Basically pray for another who sins? And that’s a Catholic Bible link. protestants don’t use it if you are trying to dialogue with them.
John said, he doesn’t recommend prayer for forgiveness of mortal sin. Non mortal sin yes, but not for mortal sin.

John who was ordained by Jesus and given the power to forgive or retain sins, is giving instruction there.

My current Episcopal parish has confession every day at 10am in the Lady Chapel prior to daily Mass, but a lot of the other churches in the diocese say that the act of contrition during Mass cleanses you of any sins you did between Masses.

These other churches don’t even offer confessions unless you schedule it, and even then it’s a super informal affair.
