Do traditional Catholic girls kiss before marriage?

Because kissing automatically means you’re lusting. Right.

So I guess all our Hispanic people should stop kissing their friends when they see each other, right? And we should refrain from kissing our families? A kiss is a gesture of affection, not a sex act!

Funny, I was going to ask the same thing.

Also: Padre Pio, Don Bosco and St Faustina were all religious, and therefore celibate.

It depends on intent.

I don’t think we can automatically assume that everyone who kisses someone of the opposite gender - unless we’re talking, as Bilop said, about something way beyond a simple kiss - is lusting.

I have read a lot on sexual morality coming out of a life of sin. I have never read anywhere that a simple good night kiss at the door to your girlfriend is sinful. Nobody who replied is advocating for more than that. .

Kissing does not equal lust.

If a married couple kisses lustfully, they sin as much as a unmarried couple.
