Yes, there’s a bit where the Judean people’s front make Brian write ‘Roman’s go home’ on a wall, and he’s caught by a Roman centurion, who proceeds to correct him from ‘Romanus eunt domus’ and makes him write it out 100 times! Very funny, especially because John Cleese’ method of tutorledge is very similar to that of my old Latin Master!

Ironically, he died one day prior to the 20th anniversary of Monty Python.
 
the latin rite has just come to my area and I’m so very thankful that it has… the last time I recall being to a latin mass is when I went with my grandfather some years ago.
 
So, it looks like a lot of people would like a Latin forum. :cool: euge! So, what’s next? Do we just continue this thread, or would it be a good idea to do something else to get this idea to actually happen (maybe something with the mods)?

I think that would be great. I am currently in my second semester of latin.

I recently found this free program online where you can learn things like: animals, foods, verbs in Latin. Good for starters! 🙂

I think we would need more in a proposal for a new Forum than Yes/No counts…

Any Ideas for Basic (Sticky) threads, like …
  • Declensions,
  • Conjugations,
  • Vocab/dictionary links,
  • Sin tax (sorry, lets try Syntax) 😉
et cetera?
 
Oh no…that would make this a Rad Trad forum then :rolleyes: …just kidding of course. I support a latin forum…afterall, it still is the universal language of the Church…

No, I’m not going to show off and reply in Latin. 😛

But yes, go ahead and have one, if that’s what you like. It could be fun to participate.
 
my latin teacher went into a coma before I could get in his class. I need to learn latin!
