On the contrary, I think we have the ability to call something a sin. We can’t judge the person - and I wasn’t doing that. And why do you imply that my post is “the Republican party” judging? Consider pnewton:No, the sin will be judged by God alone, not the Republican Party. The Church has never said there is even the tiniest bit of any sin voting third party. It is a conclusion one may come to personally, as eating meat might be something one is compelled by conscient to give up. What you call sin, is **not **the teaching of the Catholic Church.
A million unborn killed every year. The most pro-abortion president ever running for re-election in order to continue his pro-abortion policies. And Romney running against Obama - who picked pro-life Catholic Paul Ryan as his vice president and pro-life Catholic Robert Bork to advise on supreme court justice appointments. It is a no-brainer. Again, I am sure there are those who just don’t get it - they are perhaps invincibly ignorant. Other’s are just caught up in their stubborn pride - they hate Republicans, or Mormons. But for most, this should be an easy decision. Based on what I know about Obama, and what I know about Romney, I think it would be a possible grave sin for me to not vote for Romney.
