Do you know people who always want to get "the last word"?

Last word multiplied by 100.

Ha! I’d like to see you get out of that one pal!!!

Oh dear, poor you. But I get the message and will simply state “ME”

I want to recover, but there is no rest for the sinners. I am starting to get the final First Holy Communion (FHC) mass organised for one child, a FHC wash up meeting, a gathering of potential Children’s Liturgy of the Word catechists, stocking up and organising resources and nagging Father about the next program (I don’t think he knows that I am not superwoman). Just praying that it all happens because then there will be a team of many and I can have some selfish time for self.

Not so fast young lady 🤨
Children making their first Holy Communion at mass today, must try and remember to keep praying for them and their families as the priest ask.:pray:t4:

We have one child taking his first Holy Communion next week.

Just thought I would try for the last word again. 😇

I had an unexpected blessed Holy Day of Obligation. I usually forget to check if the Cathedral is having a vigil mass as my parish only has a day time mass. I just note, no Holy Day of Obligation mass in the evening. As the feast of St Peter & St Paul was on a Friday, I checked out a neighbouring parish and was able to receive an overdue Sacrament of Reconciliation, attend mass and then pop along to their parish hall to watch a DVD about St Paul.

One day I might remember to check the vigil mass at the Cathedral, or failing that, must pray harder for lost sheep to come home so we have Holy Day of Obligation vigil masses in all of our parishes.
