Do you like or dislike Father Corapi?

I do not *like *Fr. Corapi’s approach — **I *love *it! 🙂 **

Last night’s catechism episode was one of those “two-fer’s” (they taped several episodes in six-hour sessions).

It is #30 in his catechism series titled “The reality of sin.”

It is right up there with his sweet sixteen talks (al la “Addictions”). If any of you have Fr. Corapi’s catechism series – watch/listen to “The reality of sin.” In this episode he shows how humble and tender-hearted he really is (some on this thread seem to think he is neither).

His style can be best summed up in this opening line to one of his catechism episodes:

“Tonight, we are going to start off with Hell. Because we don’t want to end up there.” 👍

I have a question. I know it was a while back that he did these catechism tapings. How many episodes are there? and are they all played on EWTN?

Reason I asks is that I already record on Tivo, but I’d like to transfer the episodes to VHS (I know VHS is just about going out), but I still have a VCR hooked up to the Tivo. And then I could just have someone transfer the tapes to DVD.
 
48 I think. I’m sure you could find out for sure by checking the catalog on his website.

Yes, as Lepanto says, there are 48 episodes and they run continuously Sunday nights on EWTN. Once they run #48 – they just start over.

Now I just need to see which episodes I have still on Tivo. I’ve been recording for about a year now, but I know I’ve erased quite a few.

What time? Our ‘local’ station sometimes allows EWTN programming, sometimes not. 😦

I can empathize with you. EWTN shares time with the “Inspiration” channel here. Fortunately, they still show both of Fr. Corapi’s shows, so I don’t mind so much. Kind of annoying to see Rev. Hagee on the same channel as EWTN, though…

I know! But in spite of doing that, and in spite of a fast connection, I can’t get it to work.

I can listen to their streaming radio, but not watch TV.

do you have windows media on your computer?
that’s the only thing i can think of 🤷
i was surprised how easy it worked. i always select the slowest speed cause i have the slow dsl.

I STILL don’t know why I can’t get EWTN! I can listen to their streaming radio, and watch Youtube stuff, and I have the media player.

i’ve only listened to fr. corapi on the radio or CD, so to me that is good enough.

Do you have a popup blocker installed? Because a new window will likely open with the media viewer…and if you have a popup blocker installed…turned on…it will prevent the window from opening and sometimes, you won’t receive a message saying so.
