I like Lionel and Larry Elder… but I don’t drive much, therefore don’t listen much.

He is smart. He understands how the liberal media would spin his words or twist them or edit them.

If I hadn’t realized he was making sense I would have stopped listening long ago.

He does make sense!
Talk Show Radio (i.e. Levin/Limbaugh) = For Profit
EWTN/Relevant/Ave Maria/Salt & Truth = Not for Profit

I think quite honestly, politics, is also a business. The distinction I find between most Conservative folk who serve the Public versus those who refer to themselves as Liberal, is quite essential the Careerist minded, who make their life on politics. Most people who are Democrats, have a perpetual career lined up in politics. They have no other skillset or trade. For if they had, then they’d have no issue losing in a race, hang up their hat, and find another job. Now, that doesn’t mean people who should be in a civic position, ought to leave, and hang up their hat. For President Abraham Lincoln is a good example of someone who kept trying to remain in politics. I’d say that people who are Conservative have businesses, or other means for making their income. But, here’s the catch. As long as Conservatives put very little in the way of perpetual careerism in politics, it allows for those arduous Liberals who not only make their living in this way. But as well as have a passion for being in government. The truth is, Conservatives ought to have the same arduous determination (like Abraham Lincoln did.) And not give up. And be a consistent force in our Government against Tyranny.

As for Talk Radio, that’s their business. Whether they are Conservative or Liberal. Both must make their talk shows work, get ratings. Even if they must make a soundbyte off of the truth now and then. Pointing out the failures of their opponents political philosophical view. And that gets ratings, advertising, and sponsors. So it’s a show. Now, there’s some hint or deposit of truth in those selling advertisements of a particular point of view. And hence, that lays the credibility of their show. Though, in all cases each has its’ own errors. But then again, what is obsolence (if I spelled the world correctly)? Without marketing? So you need to sell an imperfect product, to do what? To sell more of it 😉

It’s a teaser for people. Well this goes way back to the days of ancient storytelling - to draw the ever engaged listener. And so that goes the same for Talk Show Radio. Thus, welcome to the human race. Imperfect though it might be.

There are some pretty wealthy democrats out there who have found a way to make a lot of money. Yes, they eat, drink and breathe politics, but they also have money making ventures which are making them very wealthy.

Yes I like that most talk radio people can explain the spin on propaganda’s

Sometimes Levin since he’s rather erudite when it comes to talking about the constitutional law. I’ve never sat down and invested time with Limbaugh simply because I just never had an interest.

I listen to both NPR and various talk radio programs when I’m driving.
Balance is important.

Both talk shows do a good job of explaining today’s politics .

Petty and vindictive
moral authority
Grievances

Russ limbo. Glenn beck. Mark lavin Are a few people I listen to on talk radio. They help me understand the political social attitudes. What about you. Are there people that you know of that you listen to?

Have you ever been deceived by the media news? Popular Media
Have you ever been deceived by the media news? It is difficult to see the true picture of news. Glenn beck. Rush limbo. Mark lavin. And others seem to explain the Big Picture. Who do you listen to that explains the View to you that you can believe?
Mark LaVin or Rush Limbo??
The same misspellings of “Lavin” and “Limbo” in three threads all asking basically the same thing. No way i’m buying this is coincidental. How many screen names do you have and what is your obsession with this topic?

I’d flag the posts and call it to the attention of the mods. I’m pretty sure having alts is against the site rules (although I could be wrong)…

I mainly watch the Daily Wire podcasts and CRTV. My favorites and most in line with my political views are Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh. I watch Louder With Crowder not only for the political commentary, but because it’s hilarious. 😊

I have sirius xm so I listen to the Catholic channel (Gus Lloyd, Lino Rulli, etc) and I also listen to the Patriot channel, I really like Andrew Wilkow. When I listen to opinions I take them as an opinion and a data point to add to my understanding of an issue.

My Sirius Xm expired. Gus Loyd is that morning show host, with the recording that says, “good morning child of God”?

If all talk show hosts were like him we’d be blessed. What a good man.

I like Lino too. Glad he found a nice wife.

Larry elder is a very smart, measured guy. Basically the anti-Rush.

Apparently, at least three screen names.

But you have to give the guy some credit.

I mean, he has done enough research into these guys that he can get their names straight…

🤨

… well, okay, maybe not their last names, but their first names…

🤔

… on the other hand, he was kinda sorta close with “Russ limbo.”

🤐

On the other, other hand, maybe he was talking about three other fellers who aren’t quite as well known.

@cawebmaster

responding to my own post, not sure it is a flagable offence so im not going to flag it but calling attention to the situation to let the powers that be decide to act or not.

I enjoy listening to Shapiro and Elder. I try to catch Ron Paul when I can. Most of what I listen to of his are by podcast on the internet. I do enjoy hearing his opinions. Pat Buchanan is still my favorite columnist.

For years, I could not stand Rush Limbaugh and would only listen to him for a few minutes before I turned him off. He always seemed so full of himself. I think he has taken slightly a different twist in recent years and doesn’t toot his own horn so much so I do listen to him occasionally. I have absolutely no time or interest in Mark Levin and Glenn Beck. I find both of them annoying.
